opaquelace
Beautiful tank op...so clean Lovely shots as always kim tyvm. Kim took amazing photos and she even entertained my children lol. They took photos with their blocks the rest of the day. Kim I took a magic eraser to those rounded corners and it worked wonders. Still need a scraper for the back glass though it's got some fuzz going on. Gena: acan gardens are my favorite! I think I'm going to focus on acans and palys/zoas for a while now. I want the zoas to kind of trail down the rocks until they're under my lobo and then have the acans fill that hole in the sand. After that it will be sps for the top but right now I'm just growing my bonsai. Acros do well for me but for the life of me I can't keep a montipora cap for anything. I wish I had your chili pepper monti cap. It's beautiful! Link to comment

opaquelace
My lobo was hungry. It ate three New Life Spectrum pellets and it's so fat right now. Link to comment
opaquelace
Had to reef epoxy over some pesky blue cloves that came in on a frag and had started taking over. I still have one big clump in the back to epoxy over but I ran out. Looks silly right now but it got the job done! Link to comment
RollaJase
I use the white epoxy regularly. Don't worry, it only looks silly for a week or so before it starts to turn green and in a month or so the Coraline will take over . Link to comment
gena
Is the right of center fluff-ball, cloves????? It looks so cool!!!!!! I love this tank so much Can't wait to see it with the acan garden and SPS filling in the top . Gena: acan gardens are my favorite! I think I'm going to focus on acans and palys/zoas for a while now. Oh well....in the future . Thank you . My green monticap is a season's greetings, I believe. I think the chili pepper is an encrusting monti, IIRC. Link to comment
opaquelace
Right if center is actually a very happy and fluffy pagoda cup. I love it being almost a center piece. It moves so pretty with the mp10. Maybe I'll get Kim to make a gif image of it next time she's over. I can't wait for the bonsai acro to start branching out more. It's really happy where it is. Encrusting more every day and getting a really nice purple color to it. I think I want a rainbow Millepora next but I think milleporas are hard to keep so idk. Right now though it is just expand the acan garden and the zoanthid/paly area. Link to comment

I would have never guessed pagoda, only because I'm not familiar with them at all. Very cool coral!!!! It's so fluffy and awesome. They look like little tiny duncan heads on a teal disc. Anywho, new pictures. Very crappy ones compared to when Kim came to take photos lol, but photos anyway! Here is the bonsai. Growing like crazy (encrusting more mainly) and coloring up wonderfully. The teal/orange lobo: 3 baby yumas! The two rock nems that are visible. The orange one is still in hiding after being partially eaten. It looks almost fully healed up so I'm hoping it comes back out soon. The neon green toadie Kim gave us. Probably twice the size and growing every day. I love it. Small gold and baby blue yuma. I'm ready for this thing to grow up some more. FTS And the frag rack with my palys from Lawnman: Link to comment

gulfsurfer101
Poor babies. Hope they get better real soon. Love that mandarin. I think I may add one soon, one my pod population gets out of control here soon enough. I had tons and tons of them in both my 20L's but after combining them into a bigger tank, I don't see as much as I used to. Link to comment

Whenever the kids are better and things have calmed down Thanks! I'm in bed now puking and silas is home so that's one good thing. I don't feel terrible so I'm hoping it doesn't last long. Have some zofran too since the ER doctor prescribed a few extra for me today too. Once this clears our system I want that frag! Link to comment
opaquelace
Oh my gosh . Sending healthy vibes your way!!!!! So, I bought the whole family a get well scolymia. It's a new thing. Anywho, here's a picture! It's pink and green. And when I say pink I mean fluorescent baby pink. Super cool. Link to comment
Pinner Reef
Thats a victory over illness present for yourself... admit it. That said, well deserved from what I read. Good to hear everyone is back up to speed. Really cool color distribution on the Scoly tho. Link to comment
opaquelace
Definitely. I had 24 hours to take care of myself and then it was back to taking care of 2 sick kids and a sick husband but we're all better now finally. The scoly almost looks like it has green pimples everywhere. It's pretty neat looking and it's starting to inflate. I think I found a good spot for it. Link to comment
gena
That scoly is AWESOME! I've never seen one like it before. Nice pick up!!! Yay for everyone being healthy again . Link to comment
Acielot
Cool! I just got an orange one the other day with some green highlights. Very slow eater though :/ Link to comment

opaquelace
I DO! A LOT!!!! I wish I could find something that pretty and cool looking locally. I'm sure if I traveled a bit I could but I want to find that down the street at my LFS . Best thing about it was it was $69. I kind of gave the guy at my LFS the narrow eye. Like, "are you sure?" I feel $69 is a fair price but I was expecting it to be more especially since they usually charge out the butt for plain stuff anyway. I got a better picture of it today all fluffy and stuff. It's so nice. I think with tax return money (after I pay off recent hospital bills lol) I'm going to buy a pot of gold favia and a rainbow acan frag, possibly a strawberry shortcake acro. I can't decide! Anywho, better pictures..and of course blues turned all the way down because LEDs be crazy in the camera. Kim is bringing an acro frag she picked up for me and we're going to frag her a piece of my sinularia. Maybe I'll convince her to take some pictures of my tank again. My lobo. The center is actually fluorescent orange it's just hard to capture. It's gotten huge too. Gets regular feedings of pellets several times per week. I find everything is happier eating pellets. My orange flower anemone making a slow comeback. I turned the rock around because I was tired of it hiding. I didn't buy it so it could hide all the time. Sheesh. My green and yellow flower anemone has made a home in the sand. It's attached to the bottom of the tank and seems to like its location. My metallic orange mushroom jumped ship and left this behind. I'm hoping it turns into another mushroom (or a few). And now it's back on the frag rack waiting to attach to something. I have never in my life had so much trouble getting a mushroom to attach to some damn rock. I'll have to find a spare one of these for Kim when she's at my house too. This little yuma needs to GROW! It's pastel blue/lavender with bright yellow on it. Love it. But it's so darn tiny still Sunny D in the front, pink and golds (another polyp already made too, sheesh) and CAA in the back. The yuma from Kim that's dropping babies like there's no tomorrow. Link to comment
gena
Everything looks great!!!! I need to move my yuma from Kim to the pico where it can attach to some rocks and start popping out the babies too . I think it's the healthiest yuma I've ever owned!!!! Link to comment
