Squared
look for random polyps or broken off pieces of coral in their frag tanks. small zoa frags are cheap...and grow fast. that's what i do when buying coral. Link to comment
FlCandy
I think it was code for selling drugs. No it wasn't! Yes Gena I do groom my dad's dog who used to be mine so I had a year of practice on him before now. Dad gets a discounted groomer and I get a few extra bucks. Squared, Glad the monkey is back I need my daily Seizure! Yeah I will look for loose polyps, see if I can't get a few different ones instead of one large colony. Great idea'r! <did that on purpose! FlCandy
Okay has been a really long day, Worked 8-1 ish then groomed my dad's dog, went to LFS got 2 zoa frags at 9.99 each! and did a 5 gallon WC and cleaned the canister and filter floss, yuck.... Oh and changed out the other half of my phosguard. Here are some pictures for you their not too happy yet but they are floating in their baggie. I plan on floating for an hour and a half, then I have to clean those puppies a bit, one has a bit of algae, just one tiny stalk, I will kill it. So I got a total of 3 different polyps! And this is my multi frag, has red and blue with green/yellow skirts and I believe some Nuclear Dragon eyes (super green with lighter skirts and center but all green) On this frag is purple with yellow skirts and mouths. Thats my thumb in this pic for comparison. So they are sitting, PO and all I have on is the actinics on as I just did a WC and it's cloudy! LOL There you go first frags, got 3 for 2! Link to comment
FlCandy
Yep even got them up in the time frame I promised! Cloudy tank...bleh but that will clear in a few hours as the skimmer and the canister get the water clean. YAY corals! Link to comment
FlCandy
SO their already opening up, I will post more pics of them in a few. Right now I am in the 1 hour of dark after letting them get used to the tank. They seem to like the flow I put them in.... not sure I like their placement yet though..... Link to comment
FlCandy
Hard to get good pics, but every polyp is now open RGB and Dragon eyes are on the other side, hard to get a good pic.... Purple Zoas, they have Orange mouths, with yellow skirts. Sorry bout the cruddy pics, soon it will be tomorrow and I will have the other lights on and I will be able to get better ones. For now they are happy, and so am I. Link to comment
