kgoldy
Any more rastas and "rainbow" birdsnest? I'm in upstate NY. Any idea on shipping to 12158? I have a 9 polyp rasta frag available. $90 plus shipping. Either $12.35 for USPS Priority flat rate shipping, or $39.95 for USPS Express. I have a ton of that fancy birdnest. It'll be freshly cut, so I'll add an extra inch to however much you want, to allow for potential die off from the fragging. We had a party at my place with Kat, Serenity, Jbb, Got2Envy, and spouses! We decided you were going to host the next one and buy us all plane tickets! I'm selling my frags to raise money for lunch, and you think I'm buying plane tickets? You crazy, mon! Link to comment

Red (660nm) LEDs were flashing up until a week ago, likely due to a loose wire. Unfortunately, this experiment is going on half way across the country, so I couldn't troubleshoot the fixture problem myself. Ambient temperatures had been running "a little too low" according to my farmer, until the 660's were fixed to add additional heat. High speed vent designed to maintain proper temps under MH/HPS has been removed. Total wattage of the operation has been reduced by roughly 500 watts (66%). Link to comment

kgoldy
New business venture? Nah, I just wanted to prove it could be done. All this "LEDs can't grow (insert photosynthetic organism)" is now proven entirely false by my own experiences. Link to comment

kgoldy
I would imagine evil clusters would win Define "win". Is that medicinal? Is it medicinal? In a legal sense, that depends on the state. It's a personal crop used to treat severe PTSD for a buddy of mine that I served in combat with. His legal, Veterans Affairs supplied treatment is a variety of powerful pills that come with nasty side effects and the risk of addiction. In my opinion (and I'm no doctor), it's medicinal and his best option, at the moment. Link to comment

beebes
Nice. Makes me want to put my grow tent back into use - but for basil or something . I've got a cheap (~$200) ~200W Chinese LED pendant that I bought for hydroponics long ago. Once I setup a fuge, I may drop that over it and see how it works for macro algae. Worked well for my plants, until they died for other reasons. Link to comment

Unfortunately, I treated them like my tank and ignored the crap out of them for a few weeks during my classes and they dried up. Link to comment
