I looked it up really quick, most people say ok, but I want a second opinion. I was originally planning to but it in my 55, but it certainly would be a cool addition to this tank get it!! its so cute and you need something swimming out in the open in that tank Is Miss Alto a second account you created just to confuse us? she would never create an account with the name of a freshwater fish...or maybe she did that just to throw you off. i guess you'llnever really know for sure if i actually exist Quote Link to comment

Squared Posted April 4, 2011 Share Posted April 4, 2011 looks like your halimeda went asexual. get rid of the plant, and do a big water change. samething happened to me, the algea looked just like that. i have heard that when macros go asexual releasing the spores, it can cause some major damage in a fish tank (like death). but it didn't for me. I think it might be cloudy cause I took out the carbon? I'm doing a water change today anyways Darn..I can't find my calcium test kit.
