Well, he's had it for over two months doing 8 hrs cycles and he hasn't had any issues, the Ballasts are external and he keep them ventilated, so yeah id' say there pretty good. Another Question, What can be done to make sure i don't have buffer issues, the sand i got is very fine and has no buffer. Link to comment

NEW BULB ORDERED I chose to get a 12.5K Giessman Megachrome Marine 250 Watt bulb. I chose this over the following bulbs: Phoenix 14k Hamilton 14k Current USA Stock 10k Iwasaki 14k Aqualine AB 10k Ushio 10k Ushio 14k Hopefully I made the right choice....its the most expensive light bulb i've ever purchased in my LIFE Link to comment
