knox_legend
Interesting to see. I’ve been debating on joining once my tank gets all cycled and settled in. All the stuff looks nice. Quote Link to comment

chawalte-qcvux5
I'll be interested to see how the other shipments pan out and if it becomes same old same old. That would be my only thought... if they started sending mutliples of the same. Quote Link to comment

You also have the option to specify what type of corals you would like to receive when you sign up. For $99 a month and $25 shipping I still think it’s a pretty good deal. Quote Link to comment

Gold includes free shipping but it’s $199 a month and you get higher valued corals. $99 month to month does not include free shipping, however you can get free shipping if you pay upfront for 3 months or 6 months. Anything over $199 gets you free shipping at WWC 1 Quote Link to comment

MrObscura
While I'm a fan of WWCs approach to reefing and they undoubtedly know what they're doing, their corals themselves impress me less and less as I become fimiliar with other venders/growers. And their prices are rediculous. Id never sign up for one of these things because I want to see and choose what I'm getting and feel I'd be extremely disappointed with the results. I know people don't post to hear negative opinions but I entered this thread very interested to see what you got and unfortunately it only confirmed my initial impression. 4 Quote Link to comment
Tamberav
This club doesn't seem bad to me. The corals are only 16.5 each at $99 a box. If a person isn't picky and likes surprises, it seems like a good option to me. Looks like they send some other non-coral goodies too. It's not something I would want personally but I could see the appeal to some. I did a surprise frag pack from Cultivated Reef and Battle Corals and I really enjoyed the surprise factor. I did get higher end corals than what is shown here but I paid a lot more for the battle corals and cultivated reef just knows how to knock it out of the park for value. 5 Quote Link to comment
Juno
They are moving to a location right outside Sea World. We have annual passes and I've been going to their old location over the past month or so...just to window shop. It's the busiest shop in town. Super clean and full of staff. It's massive and the selection and established tanks are worth a visit. But, it's the most expensive shop in town. I've been thinking of joining the club myself and then just going and picking it all up. 😋 2 Quote Link to comment
Tamberav
Just to clarify... I do agree the WYSIWYG prices are ridiculous. $59 for a purple polyp birdsnest or purple stylo, $79 for a green lepto. $79 for Sunny D polyp. They are out of their mind!! I guess they sell based on their popular name. The club prices are basically marked at what common corals should be marked at. 2 Quote Link to comment
Daniel91
The club is such a great concept for many.. surprises, variety, care level adapted etc. - great way to stock a tank if you don’t have particular pieces in mind At ~$20/frag (w/ shipping), you really can’t expect something out of this world. Sure, I like local deals and being able to see what I buy before anything (so personally his is not for me) But yeah, I agree with their website pieces are insane. Demand triggers supply though 😉 2 Quote Link to comment
Mike P
I joined because to me it’s a good deal especially when you compare the prices each individual coral goes for on WWC’s site. I also love getting surprises and you get the option to choose what kind of corals you could get and they let you enter comments to let them know what you don’t want. I would recommend anyone try it out and it’s not a commitment so you can cancel after the first box if your not happy. 1 hour ago, Tamberav said: This club doesn't seem bad to me. Besides asking at least double tge price for common corals they've got signature acros that pale in compsrison to stuff from BC, TSA, etc that they want 600, 700, 800 bucks for. I admire their philosophy towards reefing and I'm all for making a buck but when a name is all youre paying extra for I'm out. 2 Quote Link to comment
