Makes me want to paint mine, over never seen anything like that in my area. Good luck Thanks, it is really not common that color trim. I think my cat also likes it. If you are unsure, Lowes (or a local glass shop) can do it for you. When I saw your tank, I was like, "Oh crap, now I have to paint my trim." Actually I won't, but like everyone else, I think it's pretty neat. 1 Quote Link to comment

Yes I just need some time off to work to keep my Pico going, I am getting behind. instead of painting it, have you think of cover the trim with a floor marking pvc tape, your tank looks epic but a yellow trim would match your theme. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

debbeach13
I also love the stand. That light support looks like it could hold a pretty heavy fixture! 2 Quote Link to comment

Thanks, it is industrial grade for electrical wiring. It is very sturdy, it is posible to bend and machining thread on the ends 2 Quote Link to comment
Lingwendil
That's a beautifully janky build, I love it! The electrical conduit is a handy trick for light, I'm doing that on my 40 :) Quote Link to comment

Conduit is very sturdy, safe and very conformable, and I like the industrial look. made a trial run for the jankylight please don’t pay attention to the level and the cord. 3 Quote Link to comment
Lingwendil
Jankylife ftw Here's how I did the lighting on my 20 long when I was running a pair of heatsinks as pendants, you can church up the jank a little if you get creative. These are a pair of Synjet heatsink/cooler combos. Some crimped wire hangers complete the setup nicely. 2 Quote Link to comment
This guy is extra salty
Sweet setup no I’m not looking at your level or your electric cable 😂 looks a lot better than my light bar I made for my 160g 4 1 Quote Link to comment
Lingwendil
That was an "in progress" experiment up there, while testing the lights. With the rapidLED enclosure it looks like this- 3 Quote Link to comment
