do_0b
Spending my time down in OC made me want to get back into the hobby. That, and also seeing Shaun's (4x5) tank inspired me to go do a shallow reef myself. Been busy getting back and collecting pieces of equipments and finding a maker for my tank. Finally can say that I have almost everything I need thus finally making this thread. Tank will be drilled tomorrow and picked up, my friend that works at a carpentry shop is helping me make a stand and my sump will probably take a couple more weeks. do_0b
Updates? I assume it is a custom tank? lol yes its a custom tank. Will update later on when I go to the LFS and have the tank drilled and overflow installed. Hopefully I can have the sump and stand done by next week. Its gonna be a while before this set up gets wet but I want it to be right so I'm not going to rush anything 1 Quote Link to comment

do_0b
This is going to be very nice! Any stocking plans yet? Haven't really given any thought on stocking as of it because I'm focusing on getting the tank setup and cycling it. In terms of corals I'm looking at SPS dominated with a few zoas, a torch and BTA anemone. For fishes not too sure yet, a pair of onyx Picasso clowns for sure. I'm open to suggestions anyone? 1 Quote Link to comment

do_0b
Awesome tank! Thanks! nice tank. Thank you! That new tank shine. I hope this tank one day will look like yours Finally started working on the stand This piece took a while but we got it done finally. Sanding the plywood Putting on the primer Fooling around...testing out the 2x4...not bad for a guy weighing 175lbs Finally done for the night...both pieces are primed Going to do the legs either tomorrow or Monday hopefully. Going to pick up the tank tomorrow once the overflow is installed. Should i drill 2 holes for the return outlet or just 1? 2 Quote Link to comment
