Maniu Posted March 14, 2015 Share Posted March 14, 2015 tankies! i finally got a pinstriped flower nem! it is a deep pink! she's the smallest i've gotten, though she might not be fully open yet. right now, she looks about 1.5 inches, maybe? i came home right when we went to moonies, so here's a foto for now. wow. amazing beautiful nem! no wonder you're hesitant. other nems can move around and it gets a bit dangerous. i have easy corals. in fact, i've been eyeing the golden torch you have! they are selling at ASD, but i'd have to get rid of my frogspawn. and if i'm correct, the torches are more aggressive than frogspawn? i wanted to keep the flower nem type a surprise, but i've posted her foto! Thanks but nem is kinda plain looking lol It has grown some, even tho I don't spot feed it on purpose. They can grow quiet quickly. I am no expert but you might be right about torches. We were taking the kids down tomorrow to see there Great grandpa. I might have to stop by ASD to get some calcium or something. but that bullshit no longer works with my wife. She knows I order all my supplements online. I am screwed. Gonna come out with a baggy in hand and will get the evil eye. I dont want to come off as a racist but my wife is black. How's the duster? i've found he'll offer sale price if you ask. esp if there's one pending soon online. naked duster is doing well. still wiggling. he's got a random RDE zoa head as a friend in the tub with him. haha big duster cast off his crown but made a new one after two weeks. its new smaller crown is out a lot now. Pretty in Pink! will said one time someone local bought almost the entire batch of flower nems and put them in a 29g! great minds. Link to comment

And wow, that crown sure grew back quickly! thank you!! the duster worm hid for two weeks and its tube opening was closed. last monday, i think, i noticed the opening had breached again, and i thought, is it dead? what happened? then that night, its new timid feathers peeped out. i hope it does okay. poor thing! They sometimes do that - don't worry. My crab accidently snipped off a few feathers from my duster's crown, but it started growing back within a week. So now it has some short feathers and some long feather side-by-side, which kinda makes it look like it had a bad haircut. Just give it some time and it'll grow back fully. Link to comment
