Your wife is a lucky lady. I'll have to tell my husband that I don't want diamonds. I want acans and LPS lol.

 

For the most part he would be in the winning. Acans and lps is usually cheaper then diamonds :)

Fantastic! P.S. where are the promised lily pipes?

 

I brokes them like 3 weeks after being in the tank. First time cleaning them and I snapped the outflow.

Damn Chinese lily pipes!!!

Thanks man. Honestly...no secret. I just do what a lot of people can't...keep it simple!!

 

I myself am guilty of over complicating things and getting myself in trouble. There is no magic potions in reefing. For example I tried zeovit in my big tank, and it was a horrible failure. I always have better luck with simple systems.

 

In this nano I feed my fish once a day, do a 50% water change and clean the filter every 2 weeks, dose calcium and Alk every day and that's it. No special coral foods, aminos, or anything else fancy. I don't feed any of my coral and usually only have my hands in the tank a couple times a month.

What do you test?

 

I don't really test much. Alk maybe once a month to make sure everything is ok. Other then that, nothing really. Only test I own right now is nitrates, alk, and calcium. Don't plan on adding or testing anything else ;)
