Kijho
Couple closeups of it.. It's these little blue flowers!? Link to comment
ninjamyst
Would be very cool but, I'd be concerned with it growing large and being able to reach across the entire tank and zapping acans, birdnest, rics etc.! haha, it wont get that big that fast. and if it does, frag it and sell it for $$$$. you can easily get $50 per head. cswan19
I really like the look of that algae, not sure if its good or not since I have no clue what it is, but it looks good haha. Link to comment
Kijho
So I was just out this evening for a motorbike ride (check out my NinjaxBart Youtube channel if you haven't already!) and I ended up hitting a nail on the road... Now I have a flat tire. Why do these things happen to me.. Link to comment

Cameron6796
Haha all the nr ppl have been experiencing tire issues, side not you have could get the frogspawn another hammer or the torch but the first two would be less harmful i think. on a side side note hold the fries, you can't really put the coral in a cave since it needs light to survive above would be cool but you have your BIRDSNEST there and I would be terrified to move it after it finally co operated Link to comment
ETucc
I was gone for a day or two and I've missed so much... Tank looks great brotha. Sorry to hear about your bike tire. Glad you're okay Spence! Link to comment
Kijho
Guys! Anyone know what that green blue flower algae looking stuff is?! Link to comment
ETucc
I don't have little flowers like that, but I do have a few of those little green stalks like you have on your rock. My guess is that it's just a beautiful macro algae. They're finding new species of algae like this daily, so it could be an undefined species of algae, who knows! Link to comment
Kijho
My snails aren't even interested in it.. that's the only problem haha. I don't want it getting out of hand! Link to comment

ETucc
If anything, you could trim it like Chaeto. Hopefully this unknown stuff is soaking up our nitrates! Link to comment

Kijho
Day 49: Came home to some different behavior.. My Orange spotted Goby, Michelangelo - was swimming up higher in my tank. He's still doing it as I speak, it looks as if he's curious about my Clownfish! He'll swim up high with/ near them and they don't seem to even notice him haha. Then he'll kind of slowly go down back to the bottom of the tank in the sand near the rics or beneath the rock. I just fed him and the clowns maybe 20 mins ago, he ate plenty. Not sure what he's doing.. searching for more food? Ammonia: 0ppm Nitrite: 0ppm Nitrate: 5ppm Sg: 1.026ppm Temp: 78*F https://flic.kr/p/nkgnHM]https://flic.kr/p/nkgnHM]IMG_0925 by https://www.flickr.com/people/28981829@N05/]Shpixx, on Flickr https://flic.kr/p/nzHtE7]https://flic.kr/p/nzHtE7]IMG_0939 by https://www.flickr.com/people/28981829@N05/]Shpixx, on Flickr Good pic for size reference! Kijho
Thanks my friends! That green stringy stuff is growing. My 3 trochus snails seem to avoid it .. Sadly. I'm not sure if I should add a few snails or what. Crabs are out of the picture, and urchins seem like a bad idea too... Also, thinking of adding another stingy guy on the right rock, in that little cave. A frogspawn perhaps, I just wanna find a nice color that's different than my hammer! Also.....i.need.more.ricordia. cswan19
Just curious, why are crabs out of the picture? Because you don't like them? or because they will not go well with whats in your tank? The reason I am asking is because I am going in a similar direction in my tank and was thinking of getting a couple blue leg hermits as a part of my cuc. Btw I love love LOVE ricordia! It's possible to do I guess.. But hermits + snails usually means the hermit will kill the snail for its shell as the hermit outgrows his shell. I've seen it at the lfs a few times, and snails are so helpless... Link to comment
