Illuiix
Going to a different route in setting a new tank so these scolys have to go. I'm selling all the scolys except for one at the price I paid for. I will not accept lower offers. Illuiix
Holy crap? Mushroom tank sooner rather than later? Lol unfortunately yes. You see, my dream tank is to get a bigger cube tank and have scolys, chalices and collectible mushrooms. But I don't have that kind of money to collect all those the same time.....sooo since I've had a good gist of scolys and chalices(though I haven't done super high end chalices, I had superman chalice, Tyree bubble gum monster, flamethrower, etc), I'm going to do a collectible mushroom tank this time since I haven't done so. 1st mushroom is going to be a jawbreaker, however I really want a mama one so if I can score a good deal on it then that'll be it. If not, I'll get a baby one with at least two of the colors (yellow/red) and get other kinds of mushies. Link to comment
Lawnman
You will have better luck on R2R Ben. Good luck with the sale. Link to comment

Illuiix
You will have better luck on R2R Ben. Good luck with the sale. Thanks man. Actually I can't sell on r2r, not a member there and they have already banned my original account there. I have local forums to sell on as well so no worries. Pics of the flamethrower or it never happened . You don't remember my "shallow rimless 12.5" build? I had it though it's not the original bpc flamethrower, sorry but I've already had Chris M deleted my old account threads, and I also deleted my photobucket account which had all my past corals from my nanocube 24 build and the picO manta ray 18 "shallow rimless 12.5" build...soo yeah lol. I did those ever since I became a minimalist lol. Had to clean those clutter up ya know Link to comment
1.0reef
Look on PZ for some SA-WEET shrooms! Not to mention Buddy has his Rainbow and Flamethrower shroom (Looks like the BPC chalice) Link to comment

Illuiix
Are you going to use rock to attach the mushrooms? Yes, that's probably the biggest thing everyone here will be happy about. There will be live rocks in the tank...lol. Link to comment

Here's a thought, why not keep the collection you have, add some live rock for your future mushrooms, and then wait until you can afford all ofthat LE crap? Maybe even try some sort of mixed reef so you don't get bored every 4 months and constantly hit the reset button on an entire tiny ecosystem. I don't see why you'd spend that time collecting perfectly round scolymia just to sell them and then grab a different coral you'll hold on to for a bit and then sell. Just impatient for a change? You've spent at least $1200 on these pieces in the last few months, how tight can your budget be (especially since you don't use any of that "equipment" I hear so much about)? I'm just asking, it's your stuff. Link to comment

I'm just asking, it's your stuff. Ok soo here's the plan. I may keep these if they're not able to sell. If so, I will keep this tank as well. And just keep collecting scolys. If not, then I will start a new tank with black sand bed, 14" low iron glass cube from picO, with back painted black, with a nano razor light over it. I do have a budget of $1500 all in total for the tank. You have a good point, but I also feel like if I were to keep collecting and add mushrooms into the collection, it could go easily over $2500 and so on as time goes by. I'm currently only using a light fixture and a mp10 as for equipments. What will your next screen name be? Same name, illuiix. New tank thread if all scolys sell off. "J A W S" Link to comment
Chris!
I do have a budget of $1500 all in total for the tank. So let me get this straight, once you hit the 1500 mark you're budget is blown and you can never spend any more on the tank so you get bored and have to reset..... You should get your head examined, theres definitely something wrong with you. Goodluck with whatever you decide to do although I doubt that will last long either. Link to comment

Well I can extend the budget to $2000, but I could just easily imagine how much more it would cost if I were to collect all 3 :chalices, mushies and scolys all at once...scolys are hard to find so it keeps myself from overspending. And I also would like a cube tank with a nano razor. Thanks. Link to comment
plainrt
Why not do a mixed tank? Your tank looks not so good with just some scolys in it. Lol my lgs is full of nice nice scolys and they never sell. They are priced on average 125-175 ish Link to comment
