Psychosis
Thanks so much tenny i really appreciate it Thanks for taking the time to check out the thread! Yea, with as much reef porn as you pack in to a thread I'm sure it was a real chore to read. I personally hate high quality photographs and and the mind blowing ability to turn everything you touch to reef gold, I much prefer air powered pirate chests. Such a pain, hype. http://media.photobucket.com/user/cherylpa/media/jazzhands.jpg.html'> 3 Quote Link to comment

Psychosis
Hey Psy!Long time no check in. Hows everything? lol at that comment...thanks bud. Ah it's all good. The air force shipped me to ND, kind of put everything else on the back burner for a bit. All my favorite pieces I shipped to Glenn for safe keeping until my holding tank is in order, once I have them back it's back to the big tank and my schemes as previously discussed. I might have missed it, did you ever hunt down a wasp fish? Quote Link to comment

You wont believe it I just get one a few days ago(my LFS finally found a few) Hes a beauty too. Quote Link to comment
Polarcollision
Wow, that red nem is stunning. Might steal it from you... I'm fighting the RB LED colors too. No amount of fiddling with custom white balance and RAW sliders will bring back that natural look. Kinda takes the fun out of photographing the tank. BUT I've had good luck in the past with switching the lights over to a manual mode with whites up all the way and blues dimmed down. Also looking for a blue cast filter for the camera since sunglasses work well for the iPhone. Quote Link to comment

I punch the whites all the way up and add just a bit of the blues. Its only frustrating when im trying to capture the exact look im seeing in person but I guess its not too big of a deal. You wont believe it I just get one a few days ago(my LFS finally found a few) Hes a beauty too. Awesome. I'm sorely tempted to turn my little holding tank in to a wasp/leaf/stingfish/angler build once the big one is set up, they're just to cool. I'm going to have to backtrack and find this sucker on your thread. I do remember something about dwarf lions as well, do you still have it/them? Edit: went back a few pages and found that awesome shot of Qianlong. Nvm the last part. Quote Link to comment

I wish I wouldve gotten them much sooner as they've become some of my favorite fish. Right now I have Cesar(leaf scorpionfish), Qianlong (Fu manchu lion), Akamai (Green Lionfish), and Naruto (redfin waspfish). Quote Link to comment

Rehype
Ohhhh pretty!! But they can eat small fish, right? Thanks! Technically yes as their sting is pretty potent... The good thing is all my fish are smart enough to avoid those tentacles. 2 Quote Link to comment
