Nano sapiens
thanks! it IS too crowded so i am selling some corals today =). I been debating whether to get rid of the LEFT rock completely. Will my tank crash if I do that? I want to replace it with just corals...hahah. The rock is just too big, and I am not fond of the maxi minis anymore. And the sea of xenias on top is blocking alot of light from reaching the bottom of the tank. I have removed a rock or two in the past and had no issues. As long as your SB is relatively clean (and thereby functioning properly) you should be fine since that is typically where most of the biological filtration takes place. Porous LR also facilitates biological filtration, of course, but it's greatest asset (IMO) is as a stable site for periphyton which have a surprising ability to keep the water clean and clear. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Periphyton Link to comment

I vacuum and stir the sand religiously so it's pretty clean =). Oh, I know I could squeeze it in somewhere . I think I like the corky sea finger even more! http://sealifeinc.net/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=399 I like the white polyps. Link to comment
