Should I get a black clown goby and yellow clown goby when I get back from the honeymoon? Can they even be kept together? Hmmmm

Yep I have kept them together and a green one. I have had my green one for 6 years.

Aww yea new corals, what color? I've only had two clowns since I had my original tank. Then I had 2 blue gobies, one just died and a bicolor Benny for about a week. I really want an anthias or wrasse but don't want to go through the trouble of outting a top on the tank so Ill stick to less "jump prone" fish. Thinking the yellow clown goby would add some color and the black just looks awesome

Congrats on the wedding, bout time to go enjoy the honeymoon finally isn't it?? :)

Great shots too BTW, adjusting the WB can make a huge difference!

Clown gobys and SPS don't mix. Full large colonies can tolerate them (and even then its not ideal), but frags will suffer immensely. CG's perch and irritate SPS to no end (well I guess it ends when the stick dies...), and they pick flesh off to build "nests" and lay eggs..... bastard fish.

Back home. Feels good to be home but other than than bleh! found out my Orange clownfish jumped yesterday sometime during the day. I suspect the female clown chased him until he jumped because she is a mega bitch. Thinking about giving her to the lfs and restarting with two new clownfish.

Tank looks ok overall, needs some maintenance obviously but besides the fish looks like no casualties. Welcome back to the real world Kyle!

Sucks about the clown, but I like the idea of ditching the bitch and starting fresh with 2 new ones. Glad to hear everything else seems to be doing alright and nothing else was lost :)

Tropical Island pictures can wait. First up, my trip to World Wide Corals while I was driving back from the honeymoon. Wasn't impressed with their frags or prices, but DAMM their display tanks are amazing.

Small AIO when you walk in

Monster, almost cube sized tank. Look at those meat corals!

Now for the big long tank. Probably 6-8 feet, if not more

The $$$ chalices

Chalice frags, almost picked one up but they looked to freshly cut to make the 10 hour drive I still had left

Lots o sticks

Anyway, nice to check them out. Regarding my tank, I took the day off to get back to reality and catch up with real life, which of course turned into going to the LFS, which turned into buying a frag I really don't need. Going to try a new stick and see how it does. Picked up an ORA Borealis.

Good to hear about WWC from you, I can place my expectations much lower now hahaha.

I don't know you.....but pics like these make me hate you.

I am SUPER Jealous! LOL :)

Well then you're going to really hate me the rest of the week cuz I'll be posting some of my favorite pics from the cruise. However, I am back in Tennessee so no more pretty islands. It's something to have less hate about

I had high expectations and their display tanks certainly met them, but I guess I expected to see everything from their live sales in all its glory in store and didn't. Maybe I had too high expectations! Getting the tank cleaned up and ready for some new corals from you…finally! It's only been a month or more since I ordered and kept pushing shipping back!

Are those montiporas encrusting on the bottom of the tank? Looks like the tank is BB....

Yep. They've got multiple monti's and a few chalices growing right on the bottom glass. It looks strange at first, but when it's totally grown out I imagine it will look beyond cool
