I only keep frag racks in when i get new ones, i like to let them chill on the side of the tank for a bit before going directly on the rockwork. Yeah Pete needs a friend, hes so alone in his world haha. I feed new new life spectrum pellets, but i switch it up to mysis, cyclops, and spirulina ever now and again to keep the diet varied. Did a full range of tests today, here are the results: Cal 400 Mag 1320 Alk 8.4 dkh Ph 7.8 Phosphate 0.00 Trate 5ppm Temp 78.5 Salinity 1.025 Everything looks extremely healthy, I'm going to go coral shopping tomorrow Link to comment

Ill start with a birdsnest. I'm curious if I'm going to need a skimmer or not, nitrates seem to hover around 5ppm and I haven't added the 2nd fish yet. Link to comment

My lights are on sunset right now but i may try to snag a few in a sec. Ive never really kept sps aside from a monti cap in my last tank, i figure I'm pretty diligent with tank maintenance and everything is solid so sps shouldn't be much of a problem. After i add Pete's buddy ill watch my params to see if i need to add a skimmer, but i sure hope i dont have to. Link to comment

Not too bad, I got both for 35 The setosa is super vibrant i love it I think those two will do fine in the tank. What's your lighting schedule again? I max out at 25-35-35 for 5 hours. The rest is ramp up/down. Total light cycle is from 10-7:30 not counting the time it is 0-4-4 in the morning and night. Lunars are one from 8:00-12 then its all off till 7:30am Link to comment
