Nothing really new to report on the tank. I have been feeding the stuffing out of my new arrivals cause they looked so skinny from their journey. Therefore I figured I would do a nice water change, swap filters, new floss, etc. Everything is looking good.

So for a change of scenery I thought I would share a few images from the farm.

Haha! I managed to catch one of the Molly Miller Blennies up close and cute!

Unlike the reclusive YH Jawfish, the MM Blenies are curious about everything I put in the tank. :D

Did Molly get a botox? ;) Nice Mollies.

LOL I thought the beat matched his gill's motion!

I just can't get over how entertaining these guys are! :)

Thanks!!

Beautiful photos of the farm. Thanks for sharing! Looks like a very pretty place to live.

Also, what a cute little fish! :)

Thanks, Felicia.

It is a nice little farm. The purple flowers are volunteers and native to this area, the rose of course I planted. The peacock is an import too. :)

Bonk the bull calf is very rambunctious and loves to hippity hop around his mother. My vegetable garden made it through the last cold spell.

Overall it has been a wonderful spring.

The Jawfish are so reclusive I have decided that it is not much fun to have those. It is a constant concern to determine whether they are alive. I only see one at a time and in the same location so I do not know if both are alive.

The Blennies are a different story. They are always out and about foraging and acting cute. I have decided to name them Scuttle and Sebastian.

I keep trying to maintain control of the kitty antics, I have Sylvie and Twolu who are very calm and always are proper little ladies. :)

Yep they are a hoot.

Here is Sylvie keeping a close watch on my paper towel supplies.

Happy mother's day to you.

Thank you! :) I had a great weekend full of family and love. Happy times. :)

Sylvie is doing great. Except that she does not stand to have her fur groomed by anyone but her own tongue! :P She is getting too matted in some places and I will have to snip them off with scissors. Wish me luck!

Bubbles my rescued mixed breed, black lab, beagle, blue-tick heeler girl puppy just got her summer buzz cut and I wish cats were that easy to manage. Sigh ...

The Caribbean Castle is really doing great. The Macros are growing, the ones that the Emeralds didn't snip off. ;)

The corals are all growing and loving the Razor LEDs. The Porites rock is turning to a peach color rather than a beige. :)

The Gorgonians are growing new branch buds! I am so happy about that. :D

I have been thinking of moving the Zig and Zag the Blue Neon Gobies from MyAtlantis nano into the the Caribbean Castle. But they are such fast swimmers I cannot imagine how I will accomplish that task. I also will move the Yellow Ball Sponge, Cheese Puff, into the CC.

The Diatoms have really diminished in quantities. There are the snails, Chitons, crabs and conchs all munching on the growth on the rocks. The conchs are doing a great job on the sand.

The Molly Miller Blennies are unstoppable. Do you know how some of the big jawed fish look emaciated with a very skinny ribbon like body when they first come home from the store? Well these blennies looked just like that. After three days of seaweed, clam & oyster mix, and live baby brine they look like little sausages.

The Blue Reef Chromis have figured out where the current brings the most food from the continuous feeder and they hang out in that spot all day. There has been very little aggression in the small shoal and no one looks stressed! Excellent! :)

The one Yellowhead Jawfish that I see is looking well. I think of the two only one made it. I read that they can hide out in the sand for days with out eating. Hmmm... IDK I am pretty sure there is only the one. I will try to get a video of him soon. :)

Cute fish! Love the name Scuttle. How long are they?

They are about an inch and a half long. So cute! They will probably grow to be around four inches long!

Wait, so if I want to have 2 emeralds (I already have a female), can I get another female, or would it only work with a male?

Everything looks like its doing great! Those blennies are super cute. Good call getting 2 of those and I like their new names :)

Do you think if you put both neons in the nice large tank that they'll stop fighting and be ok together? You currently have them separated don't you? I think it would be great to try moving them, but I'm with you on having no idea how to catch a tiny neon goby. When I bought mine from the LFS, it took them like half and hour to catch 2 for me out of the completely empty (except fish and sand) LFS tanks. Maybe a fish trap that's tiny enough that only they fit?

I do not know the answer to that question. Sorry. I placed four Emerald Crabs in this tank. Two have died and both were small. The two that are left are large. One of the small guys that did not make it had a missing claw. I am pretty sure they were murdered. :( They were to small to really be sure of the gender.

Hi, F. I think the tank is large enough to keep them safe from one another. There are plenty of little hiding places for them. The BNG in the fuge will probably be easier to catch than the one in the nano. I will try to use a method Albert posted in my nano thread. He uses cheese cloth and food to restrict their movements and then nets them. :)

Here is a glimpse at Emerald crab's WWE. This happened on the third day after adding them. At the 2 minute 39 second point in the video, the little guy gets the upper hand. I broke up the fight after I realized that these guys do not surrender.

Nice video! I feel like it needed epic fighting music. :)

Oh, and let me know how catching the neons goes. I agree with you that they should probably be fine together in the big tank.

I goofed on the editing! Oops. I had chosen a cool fight song but somehow the first song on the list got saved instead. I fixed it now. I think the new song is more appropriate.

I added more macros to the display tank. The Molly Millers immediately started investigating the new additions. They love to sit in the clumps of Dragon's Breath.

The Jawfish is more brave and has been out hunting for food more often. :) This makes me happy.

I will try to post more pics soon.

I just went through the Maxspect Razor owners thread. WOW! I'm now leaning heavily toward that light!!!!! I would do the 20.5" version 16K. Thank you soooo much for bringing this to my attention!!!

This light even has the approval of Jedi Ben :)

When JMB gave it his seal of approval it sealed the deal for me. I like the programming because it is intuitive and I do not have to hassle with plugging into my laptop to program. It does not run hot and the few times the fans came on I could not hear them unless I was right nest to them. :)

I was taking pics outside and this is what I caught in the shade of the Blueberry bushes. :)

Hello .... what a fun build, very cute theme also :)

Hi, SurgicalSense. Thank you. It has been so much fun. I am still trying to establish a strong macro algae community in the tank so that pods and bacteria have a place to grow and breed. Those little MM Blennies are great hunters so I doubt a pod population would be able to maintain a breeding population. So I have a macro grow out tank in which I have recently add lots of pods. They are doing great in there. :)

I did not notice if your running a refuge? You can breed them in there and they will cycle into the tank

Much better music on the video! :D

Those are gorgeous photos of you cat. She's such a cute little model  I'm jealous of your blueberry bushes. Looks like you're going to have lots of blueberries soon! Next season I think I'll have to get some blueberry bushes to grow in containers like my container strawberries. I wish I had a yard for this stuff, but I make do by having LOTS of potted plants.

I do not have it hooked into the DT. It is a separate 14 g tank with lots of macros and a small power filter. I scoop up some pods with a brine shrimp net and add them to DT at night to give them a chance to find a hiding spot. I want to add lots of macros to the DT because I find them so beautiful. I also have two sprigs of Florida turtle grass. We will see if I have enough light to get them to grow. I remember snorkeling in the keys and off of Key Biscayne in Miami and I loved the Turtle grass which housed so many lovely creatures.

Epic shot! Love that school!

The Blue Reef Chromis are so neat looking. Their blue is so deep and vivid it is electric. Their dorsal fins are a very funky shape and are black which really stand out when they signal eachother.

Yeah, the Haitian Fight Song is what it is called and it is funny.

Sylvie is so cute. She is a little Princess. I hate to let her outside but she begs and begs in a most pitiful way until I relent. She was born in the outdoors and she cannot stay in for long without the fun of the outdoors calling her back. :)

I hope I get some of the blueberries before the birds do. To add insult to injury they leave little blue calling cards on my silver car after stealing the berries! I bet you can get some in pots to grow fruit. They have small bush varieties which I bet would be perfect for pots.
