Exactly! The raw pictures have always caught my eye more then the touched up ones.

Hey, guess what ? We'll have another NR member moving in our direct vicinity- Inglostsurfer, he and his girl will be right around the corner from both of us so no problem with finding tank sitters if we need!! In a couple weeks I plan on hitting up that store again in Greenville, SC, I want to look at the Maxspect again and see if they can play around with it for a moment so I can see the changes in the coral. They had it on a more lavender setting when I saw them. Maybe we can go together or something. It's an hr away.

All I have for now as I cannot focus my eyes now. These are pretty true to life, if they seem dim I couldn't get the contrast right without washing out the colors.

I should note the cyano is nearly gone. I believe it was a mini spike due to adding the fish at the same time. All looks amazing and more pics will be posted tomorrow and the day after, I am going to go back to feeding the 2 caps of the Nutra Powder as this seems to not be the issue.

 

Funny thing was as soon as I started feeding 2 cubes of myisis it has started growing away..... bacterial overgrowth maybe?

I can tell the improvement in the picture tanking with the lens, They're looking really good. I esp like the one with the underside of the fish showing because it's such a different perspective. One of these days maybe I'll have a macro lens. wah. (that's me being sad cuz I don't have one).

This isn't a "ZOOM" Macro but it's a good deal for what I paid and it's name brand. I do like the better quality it does show quite a bit.

Thanks I am using an Olympus E-PL1 with a Olympus 50mm 1: Macro Lens and a lens adapter that allows to get 1:1 macros.

Thanks! Yeah I liked the one of Bogart's belly, thats the big male Green Banded Goby. He has been perching on the glass, guess it's his version of begging!

Yeah I didn't! I was one of maybe 8 people who showed for the Frag Auction at the president's house and all they did was complain. Their a bunch of people who don't promote their club enough then wonder why no one shows.

I'll have to take you to the Looking Glass hike. This was what it was like just starting out like 9:30am Oct 7, and then later on the bald looking out. It's awesome, especially in the fall. Here's one of mine from then. Wasn't fall yet though.
