Well I bought a pair and they were both male so I took the smaller one back the the bigger one survived for like two years until it went MIA! My mandarins have spawned dozens of times, but I don't try to raise the babies. I don't have the space right now, but I may try to raise them in the future. Link to comment

You could, but it wouln't work the same. From my understanding, the sealed edges force the water down through all 3 levels, whereas with eggcrate it would just go out the sides. So I got a few things for the tank today. No pics yet though. Yoshii bought me a new feather duster that's dark purple with tan and white spots/stripes and an orange carnation coral. My mom realized we were getting porn so she set up a lock on all the channels thank god, so it warns me. I know the password so I can at least watch South Park.
