As in no sumps, but a HOB filter is allowed, also converting the tank into an all-in-one is allowed. -Refugiums are allowed, but should be no bigger than an AquaClear 110. -HOB filters are allowed but the largest size is an AquaClear 110. -Budget of 350$ -The cost of the equipment is taken from the budget, so spend wisely. -All live stock can come from anywhere, sponsors, LFS, whatever. If you use something from a current tank, you deduct 75% of its fair market value. If you purchase livestock online, you deduct the actual price paid for the livestock from the budget, but don't count shipping costs. -You can mod all you want as long as you keep your total volume at 10 gallons. -Not deducted from the budget: building supplies, eggcrate, stand/canopy materials, plumbing, sand testing supplies mag float, heater, thermometer, salt, water, supplements, food or CUC (only including snails and hermit crabs + certain other crabs PM me if you want to add something to the CUC that I did NOT mention) -Budget is done on the honor system since we all know what its all worth. I would say the beginning but I have completely changed th scape on my 24g 3 times. All new rock and everything lol. Also, how is the judging going to go down? Do I judge lol? If so be creative haha i have a 15g tank could i just fill it up with 10 gal if so i might be in You have to actually use a ten gallon tank, unless you custom build a tank, then it should be within a half a gallon of 10g. The thing is 10g's are only 10$. yeah but i'm 12 so i dont make any money and i dont have any salt water stuff so it all add up evean $10 i would still have to get a R/O unit and test's and all that so yeah i was also hoping that the contest would start some time after november cos my birthay is on the 28th of Nov so yeah oh and since i dont have a R/O or test's and salt or any thing stuff like that wouldn't be taken off my buget would it Link to comment
