FTS! lulz!!! I agree. BUT... I made a bunch of frags last weekend and the sand bed is loaded with plugs Doesn't make for such a sweet pic. Tank it still fuzzy, even after the restart. Working hard on getting it back in shape. Added some new CUC members. This weekend will be a total clean out of the rear chambers and fresh media in the rack. Coral is happy for the most part. Cleared out some of the yellow sponge that has become somewhat invasive- choking out my zoas. Pics sometime soon- I promise. at least I'll try lol Link to comment
Needreefunds Posted January 22, 2011 Author Share Posted January 22, 2011 WOW!!! I wish I had done the air valve mod to my Tunze 9002 sooner!! Such a simple, low cost mod. Probably no cost to most reefers as these items are most likely on hand. What a dream to dial this thing in now! Anyone running one of these in a hard to reach spot - most of us I'm sure - PLEASE check it out. You do not have to permanently alter the skimmer- it can easily be put back as before without damage. <--- me. Link to comment

Well then I think you should take a peek at this Sir Now I did not follow it to the letter, but you get the idea. I simply added my new air line and valve. I left the original tube in place and just tucked it aside. SO sweet to adjust now. Link to comment
