05XRunner
Think the 8 bulb could suatain sps in an AGA 75? I'm going nutz right now just thinking about it! I wanted to take over my dad's 75 but the lighting cost was crazy, not now! Link to comment
IMaNoob
I ended up winning the 30" sundial on ebay brand new for $98 shipped. Now thats a killer deal! LOL Link to comment
Nick's Reef
Well may do the light for the 75. Cost for maintence and to get it back on track would be a bit much for a freshman in highschool. $400 a year just for waterchanges, need 2 k4s $100, new skimmer pump $80, new sand $100, more rock ~$30, fuge light $20, paint $5, and a hell of alot of time. I would sell off all the livestock, cook the rock and start from square one. If I got $300 off the old light and fish/corals could do it though. Link to comment
dtfleming
Wow this is a good deal on this fixture. Pretty much like my TEK. Remember you still need good bulbs for this. ATI blue special, ATI blue plus, UVL aquasun, UVL 75/25. are some good choices with PAR values over 300. Like the TEK ones your gonna need a fan to blow on the end to cool the bulbs to make them last longer and get the better PAR readings. Link to comment

Crackerballer
Quick question, I am planning a 24x24x16 cube down the road. Think one of these fixtures hung will light the entire cub enough for some SPS higher up? If not I am going to go ahead and order a 2nd since they are 11" wide. Link to comment

I would say it would work if you kept all the sps under lights, but you may be unhappy with the spread. Link to comment
