Its made out of 5/8 inch thick red oak plywood and 1x2 douglass fir. The stand is made out of the same red oak plywood and 2x2 douglass fir. I also have a 1inch thick plywood "seat" in the bottom of the stand that will hold the sexy shrimp grow out tank once I obtain it and the shrimp (gotta get the actual display tank fixed first with the cycle and life in it haha. Also, if you need some help, I can help ya run this thread (if something comes up and you need some help) Quote Link to comment

B0omer
My application to Club Pico.... Some lovely tanks in this thread, cant wait to read up on how the others mature. My little tank has been running just over a year and has given me hours of enjoyment. (apart from the suicidal shrimp). Its only 15 litres in volume, rimless and open topped. It does have a auto top up from a 25 litre reservoir full of RO water and that lasts aaaaaaages so the maintenance is minimal. Occupants are: Fijian live rock 1,000,000 baby snails (at the moment, they all hatched about 2 months ago and are now 3-5mm accross, you can see them in the corners of the tank.) Plating corals Torch Coral Green stripped/ red mushrooms Various polyps Couple of hermit crabs There is also a small fat star fish of some sort, about 5mm across. not sure what it is. 1 Blue Damsel Quote Link to comment
ReefWidow1
Ok, I'm going to try this again with all the information on the tank....let's give it a go, heh? This is my 5g AGA, there is no sump or refugium, just the aquiarium. It has a Zoomed powersweep to push the water around. It is lit with 64W of PC, 32 actinic and 32 50/50 in a homemade hood my hubby built for me. I would like to add that the stand it is on was my great-grandmother's sewing table. :-) (I love old stuff!) As for livestock -- well -- there is one very tiny blue leg hermit and one snail. I do have button polyps and GSP, but they are renting space in hubby's system until mine is ready for them. Hopefully, that fills all the requirements of the Pico Club! Quote Link to comment
SpikeyPuffer
What heater do you use in the back of your tom aquatics deco 3 pico? I live in Ohio, in an old drafty house and really need a heater. LFS is closed till Wed, and I need a heater now! Quote Link to comment
