Thanks for the generous NR-man offer! Well, I cut the light cycle and bought a KICK ASS clean up crew from Reef Cleaners and now my algae is gone bye-bye! I am still hesitant to "do eBay". I don't know what the coral market is like on ebay any more. I have stuff like this-- and this--- Truly Limited Edition Reef Chicks! And this! And this! I just don't know what the market on ebay is like. The acan pieces are too valuable to risk on ebay. Link to comment
animalmaster6
That's alotta frags How about becoming a N-R sponsor How do you attach the acans? How do you attach those rics? Thanks. Link to comment
mvite
That's alotta frags How about becoming a N-R sponsor How do you attach the acans? How do you attach those rics? Thanks. It is a goodly amount--no doubt. The sponsor question is a good one. I was a sponsor once long ago. It doesn't work out because I can't compete (nor do I want to) with the big shops. I buy my coral in smaller pieces and don't have a wholesale source. Even if I were a sponsor, I couldn't sell in the Classifieds. I kind of limit myself with selling because of how I practice the hobby. I just like growing the stuff. I attach the acans with super glue gel. They stick like crazy and then encrust. The rics were attached already. I just sliced em and they split. Link to comment
animalmaster6
Ah I see. It is fun to just watch them grow. That's why I'm setting up a 4o Breeder Frag Tank. Frag corals that are over grown in the display. Put them in the frag tank and watch them grow, then sell a few Did you attach the rics with glue? Link to comment
mvite
Did you attach the rics with glue? Nope--They were naturally attached when I bought them. Link to comment

mvite
Well I tried listing on ebay several times tonight and got fouled up. It's been so long since my last listing, I have to update many of my selling preferences. I got bumped out trying to list 3-4 items. I ended up giving up the auction and going with a frag pack as a buy it now listing. We'll see. Link to comment

Sword
What sets encrusting gorgonians apart from Green Star Polyps? Looks the same to my untrained eye. Link to comment
Needreefunds
What sets encrusting gorgonians apart from Green Star Polyps? Looks the same to my untrained eye. Very similar indeed, but I have some of each, so I offer this- The lack of the typical GSP white "eye". They also appear a bit more delicate, very wispy and fine. While still growing from a mat, grow up in small tubes that look like a group of soft feather dusters. Much slower growing than GSP - at least in my tanks. HTH. Link to comment
