Yeah he is in the tank already. Going to move the 🌈 BTA after dinner.  Almost done making water. Will have to do the dip athon tomorrow.  Son told me last night we were out and been filling all day. Almost all going on sand bed. Still waiting for the par meter.  I have few sticks that are barely hanging on in the 20l.

Yeah got all three in there.  The two other are size of a blue berry.  Can't find them.  The other one went all the way into a hole at the bottom. Took us quite a while to find him.

Toad stool is pissed. He was stuck to a cement plug and I smashed it to remove any pest.

 

 

Ducans are opening up pretty good only been about an hour.

 

 

Same with the frogspawn it's doing well after all the treatments.  There were a ton of bristle worms on them.

 

 

 

My Hammer is coming back pretty good. It looked pretty beat up though.

 

 

The Acans I split one pulling it off the plug. It's got stingers out and he definitely pissed.

 

Might have to move him tomorrow.

I think it will be easier with the others as I am going to do small trays for dipping the next time.  Trying to figure out where to put the rest. Still waiting on the par meter.

Going to stop posting on the other tank thread. It's only being used to feed the CUC for now. Getting little algae but not enough to feed the cuc yet.  Don't want them to starve I think maybe another week and will chuck them in.   Want to shut down that tank.  Anyone have suggestions when to add the cuc?

You should have seen the group it came out of.  I was lucky the local shop broke one off for me. They charged me for one head but I got two 😁 I on the hunt for another color variation.

Looks like the creamscicle chalace is finally looking better.  I don't think I am a fan and might end up trading this guy off Though.

This is about all the hydra 26 can do.

 

Here are the par numbers though might have to rethink placement of a few and might have to get rid of one or two.

 

 

 

The shelf in the back is at 60 so going to have to move those guys to the middle.   I have the acclimation set up for 3 weeks.  The par numbers listed are what they will be after 3 weeks.   Probably only going to move sticks around and few other things.  If you guys have any suggestions post up.

Went down to CFC finished off my Christmas present and picked up this guy.

 

 

 

 

I think it's called Splatter Hammer. I love the colors and they are supposed to change as it grows. I think it's time to move this guy along. All for now.

I love this coral and I got one a few weeks ago. My lighting isn't the greatest so mine might not do much. I will be interested in how yours does.

 Yeah, the only thing I am concerned about right now is it's not fully open and same with my other hammer. Though in the store there was very little flow when I picked it out.

The RBTA has finally moved to the top.  Going to start really feeding him and get him big.  Want to put some clowns in.

Got some ugly stuff growing.

 

It's weird that it is going only growing in the shaded areas. Going to do water change and suck the sand up.  I have some treatment for it but don't want to do that just yet. Any suggestions?

Increase your water flow to that area.

I had picked this crappy power head on Amazon for $6. I don't like it but it will have to do. For now.

 

The mp10 bit the dust, have not been able to use it for quite a while. I picked it up locally pretty cheap. Top center section blew up.

 

Shaft cracked and broke.

 

The root of the problem, magnet separation.

 

 

I will probably get a new power head. The controller seems to still work fine.

People don't seem to have problems with the mp40s but those are out of my price point. 😁

 There seem to be a lot of new power heads so might have to look for different options.

Whelp tried the westside powered it up spun off and broke.  I will have to probably just buy a new one. Thanks @schg for trying appreciate the effort.👍

 

So we ended up doing Sea chem routine.

Put a 3d printed air stone next to the $5.99 power head. It worked pretty good.  Ran that for 48hrs and did 20%

Water change.  Everything is doing fine and everything is gone.  One thing don't run your skimmer. I couldn't get it to skimm, it would just blow up.  Probably do another water change and try again.

I was having algae problems in the over flow. I modeled a cover.

 

Had to do it in two parts, it was to big.

 

 

I don't know if I like it as it over hangs. I think It will do the job for now.

 

 

That's about it for now. I think we are going to try a new salt mix this next round see how it goes.  We are currently using instant ocean. Have not had any problems. Thinking switching to Instant Ocean reef crystals. For some reason it's cheaper than the standard stuff.  Never used it anyone have any input?
