T5s are really nice, no shadows and they're very crisp. I will probably change the bulb combo to be less blue next time, it's a little much for me. Yeah it's been interesting, and I don't think it's done changing at the moment either. I know from the colony my brother had that this acro is capable of nice bright blue coloration, I've never seen it turn purple like this before though. 1 Quote Link to comment

When it started changing it was still on the frag rack, so it hadn't moved, its just continued to change since I placed in on the rock 4 days ago. I would guess probably less light where it's at currently. This makes me wish I had room for a larger tank... I'll just have to live it through your tank! One day I'm sure you'll have a bigger tank. Coris venusta Candy Apple Reds Red Planet - Plug has been fully encrusted and color is slowly starting to come back in. Next four acros are all from Adam at Battle Corals, they're finally starting to show some promise now that they're on the frag rack. Aaaannndd let me sneak this one in last for you guys. I told him my rainbowberry came a blizzardberry lol .. he took care of me like always . , the other is starting to color up nicely though . I have almost same exact setup , except i use a photon 48" instead of t5's and r8s instead of mp40's. so that just meant 3 other packs from adam...lol i find in my setup if you adjust the skimmer to the white o ring it produces just the right skimmate . . As far as being quiet i find my skimmer to be very quiet i use food grade rubber mats and zip tie them around all my pumps to dampen the sound , and i just use an eheim compact for a return pump works fine . joshky Posted December 15, 2015 Author Share Posted December 15, 2015 This past weekend cyano took over my tank and my bryopsis is getting a bit out of control, going to start kent tech m soon to try and combat the bryopsis and let the cyano run its course. Anyways, all of the acros that have been doing well are looking really great right now so I'm not too worried with everything. Then there're the ones that are completely under performing, I'll do a photo update of those tomorrow. It's hard to put time into photos on them since they are ticking me off. Getting ready to place these four frags from Adam, so last picture update before they leave the frag rack.
