Thanks for reading through it It,and the 10 are my first reef tanks and I must say they are fun and challenging. I'm very happy that the firefish arnt able to jump out I think they add the right amount of pop to the tank. Unfortunately I'm at the waiting th let things grow on this tank. It will be exciting to see it progress now. Hopefully it fills in nicely Quote Link to comment

drgibby
Well yesterday i tried something new i was doing spot feeding and decided i would put more then necessary in to see what that will do with water chemistry. I do my water change tomorrow so hopefully nothing to bad. Actually today the corals all seem to be happier with the dirty tank so who knows!? Quote Link to comment

drgibby
Raise that Ca! Will see better growth.Zoas look really happy Thanks Harry! I have stuff coming in tomorrow to try to get that calcium up. Can i raise it quickly to 400 or should i go slowly? Once its raised ill track how fast it gets depleted. Quote Link to comment
drgibby
so things are going well. Calcium is at 400 and has been stable there today is normal water change day but i decided to go another week because i would love to get on a 2 week rotation or it instead of weekly. we will see what happens. I did test the water i change and it was at 300 so maybe thats why everything was so low. I have a bad batch of salt. Also i think my UFO Micromussa is very happy saw him last night kinda shriveled down and it exposed so many more heads that are growing under his puffy fluff 20160615_072804 by drgibby, on Flickr Also top down shot today enjoy 20160615_091809 by drgibby, on Flickr 1 Quote Link to comment

drgibby
Things seem to be doing really well in this tank as it has become a hospital tank. I think im going to leave some of the frags in it and make it fuller as i wait for it to grow out. not to much to report things are good 20160629_105346 by drgibby, on Flickr 3 Quote Link to comment

drgibby
The one ricordia has been angry most of the week i figure it is fine and i really dont know what to do besides ignore it. All the levels are ok in the tank. Last night i was inspecting it at night and noticed a bristleworm. Which i check on the internet and some people say good and some people say bad. Whats the opinion here... good or bad bristleworms. Will they hurt my corals. Quote Link to comment
drgibby
I do have bristleworms and have only managed to remove one. I only see like one or 2 around at night but there small and i can't seem to get them out. I switched salt to Red sea pro and im loving it and so are my corals. I love looking at the bottom of my tank seeing this view 20160725_111345 by drgibby, on Flickr The UFO micromussa and Acan look so happy and huge. The Acan is a freaking pig hes got a mouthful of mysis!20160724_114842 by drgibby, on Flickr We all have different views and opinions so i want to communities opinion. Im looking for a centerpiece coral. One that will bring the eyes up and just pop. I want to stay with the theme of this tank and since ive only been doing this for about 9 months im sure there are so many more things to put here. 20160725_111850 by drgibby, on Flickr Its going between the spongebobson left and the zoas on the right. Right around where the coraline is on the rocks. Quote Link to comment
