cindyp
So many adventures Cindy! The tank looks amazing and I'm really happy to see your YCG is thriving. thank you so much! i was worried about my ycg after my blenny mysteriously and unexpectedly sudden deathed. it was touch and go for me. if i had lost the ycg, i think i would have called it quits on fish for a while. Wow!! It's looking really nice, especially under the blue lights. How's your yuma doing? Has he opened up yet? the yuma never opened or recovered. it started spitting all its guts out, i think. i moved it to a more sheltered spot, but there'd be a cloud of ooze around it every day. i still tried to feed it. but i realized it was melting. it did this after a major water change after the blenny died. i've read that they are harder than floridas, but who knows what happened. i'm not sure i'll try another any time soon. Love the colors. Who needs Christmas lights when you have eyes candies #truth thanks! Link to comment

cindyp
i thought yumas were more difficult than florida rics?? they are! that's what i read. mine was happy for at least two weeks. then the blenny death, water change, closing up, etc. some have had no problems with yumas at all. i've had no issues with my floridas. in fact, i've had no problems with mushrooms in general, until the yuma. it was such a pretty one too. hey
thats an awesome duster, and I am now jealous as dusters are really quite annoying to find around here or even online in a wysiwyg setting. Link to comment

cindyp
How's the goby appetite I hear they can be delicate in that aspect i didn't have much trouble with the ycg at all! he was a bit timid at first, but then began to eat like a piggy. he'll take pellets (not with as much enthusiasm) but definitely eats frozen pods and frozen reef frenzy, and loves both. i think i got lucky with him. he's very cute. are you considering? cindyp
merry merry reefers! thank you for being so welcoming to me and helping me and sympathizing and cheering me on throughout these months. here is my alien feather duster worm saying happy christmas and my yellow clown goby too! (my gsp have been angry for three days now since i gave it another scrubbing off of the blasted invasive sponge that lives in it.) Link to comment

cindyp
Very nice. I'd thought about adding one myself - but I'm out of real estate in my tanks.. i am having same issue. there is no good place to put my feather duster. i lay it on the rocks and it keeps drifting around. and i put it on sand, but it is near the sexies so they jump on it and scare the duster. wah! will have to look at tank and decide. but i do love it! it has now drifted behind all the rocks and lying in the sand for now. LOL...gotta love them . More pictures of the new feather duster!!!! It's so cool! it keeps moving around! need to find a good place for him in my teeny tank. hope i do. i like it a lot and hope it does okay. i am dosing with phyto feast concentrate for him. It should do fine, especially if you are dosing phyto . My husband asked me the other day why I don't have a feather duster in this tank LOL. He remembers my first reef had two. And they didn't survive because back then I was clueless. I didn't dose anything for them. I'm sure you'll find a good spot for it. Link to comment
owenj
Love the new duster! I was at the LFS today getting a new tank and saw they had dendros! I didn't give in though since I'm about to do some tank moves. Link to comment
teenyreef
I love feather dusters! I had a couple when I had my first saltwater tank back in the early 90's. It was a FOWC (Fish Only with Cyano) tank, but I did have some feather dusters, and they were the most beautiful thing in the tank. Yours is way prettier than the ones I had though Link to comment

WHAT. i'd only been gone for less than a week. so i gave the owner a stern talking too, and he blamed his employee who bought fish. hopefully it won't happen again! i looked at some other fish but none caught my eye. so shall wait more. the ycg seems to be doing well. it is a good eater and will eat off my tweezer!
