Reefkid88
Such a sick light and clean looking tank. I love the rock in the back right corner and the one infront of it near the glass !! Link to comment
opaquelace
Thanks!! I'm hoping I can keep them happy and my sps happy at the same time. Anthias require small frequent feedings. I'm hoping I can keep my water clean enough with all the feeding! I'm going to try 2 times daily and see how they do. If not I'll bump it up to 3 small feedings. Been doing some work today. Seeing my light got me in the groove. I needed something to hide my ato and i found these. I think it looks good and no one would know a ato was in it. Also installed a new lamp. Wish I could get rid of this crappy tile And do wood floors! I guess that's another project. https://www.flickr.com/photos/123509535@N06/14004213473/] https://www.flickr.com/photos/123509535@N06/14004213473/]DSC_0556 by https://www.flickr.com/people/123509535@N06/]touchofklasse, on Flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/123509535@N06/13984644824/] https://www.flickr.com/photos/123509535@N06/13984644824/]DSC_0547 by https://www.flickr.com/people/123509535@N06/]touchofklasse, on Flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/123509535@N06/13984656354/] https://www.flickr.com/photos/123509535@N06/13984656354/]DSC_0552 by https://www.flickr.com/people/123509535@N06/]touchofklasse, on Flickr Such a beautiful, clean tank. Alex B
Such a sick light and clean looking tank. I love the rock in the back right corner and the one infront of it near the glass !! Thank you! Makes the hours I spent playing with rocks justifiable! Lol Such a beautiful, clean tank. I've been wanting a cadlights aquarium for so long. Seems like we have similar tastes especially considering I have those exact same dining room chairs Lol...I call it my IKEA room. My kids spend a lot of time in that room. That living room and dining room area were built with them in mind. Nothing to fancy or expensive, but I like it! I guess u can call it the lounge! Link to comment
opaquelace
You have kids?! Where is the evidence of that?? My living room is a holy mess at any moment my twins are awake. Granted their not even 3, but jeez. Lol. Link to comment
Alex B
Find the right white balance by trial and error. That what I did. And Shoot in RAW. I suggest using Lightroom or something similar to edit the pictures. There you can tweak a lot of stuff to fix the pics up. Thanks man! I'll keep trying...I hung it up for tonight though. Maybe its just the crappy lense. I would think a DSLR with a OK lenses though should do better than my iPhone. Further evidence I sucksssss You have kids?! Where is the evidence of that?? My living room is a holy mess at any moment my twins are awake. Granted their not even 3, but jeez. Lol. Lol u have twins?? So do I. They are 6. Its better now but it was some work. I have ocd....my kids have learned that if they wreck the house, I wreck them! .....lol...j/k...they are pretty good now. They like a clean house too. Like father like son. Link to comment

I stay home with them so that means my house looks like a daycare center. I've even been asked if I run an in home daycare center. I said "nope, they're mine." Lol. I'm trying to get them to start picking up after themselves but it takes a lot of coaxing. Their favorite thing to do right now is play "dinosaur." That basically means they go godzilla around the living room. Toys everywhere, blocks knocked over, it's insane. Link to comment
TheKleinReef
Don't give up on the DSLR. I've been practicing with it for about a year and I'm still learning new things. A tripod and the timer function will be your best friends for upclose shots. I still can't get good pictures if fish. I got 1 good one out of thousands of pictures. :/ Link to comment

Arkayology
I know you don't have anything to take pics of, but I really want to see more pics of what corals and fish look like under the lighting! I am considering something similar. Link to comment
Alex B
I actually have plenty to take pictures of. Couple really nice pieces of sps, about 30 ricordea, and a scoly! I just can't take a picture that does it any justice! I'm going to try more tom. Trying to figure out what to do about the possible fluke situation. I've never had it before so I'm just going off symptoms. No one has positively id'd the growth in the pic. Link to comment

I am not really good with ID'ing disease. Maybe ask Albert Thiel? Link to comment

Alex B
Yea yea. You know what I mean. Greenish yellow. This one still has to lighten up some. I have only ever seen 1 true Yellow pink lemonade. I mean like YELLOW! Most others always have a light green color in my eyes. I got mine from Jason. I would love to see a truly yellow acro. There was a picture of a banana lokani from some website that was almost golden in appearance but I'd like to see if it looked like that in person. I like you, would love a true golden yellow acro. Guess I will settle for a yellow milli... My yellow fuzzy is nice. It's as close to yellow as I've seen for a lot of things. It has light pink polyps too. It's new though so just waiting for it to color up and to see if the neon yellow stays or if it turns green. I find the sunset millepora at my LFS looks yellow with green polyps, but I think it's supposed to be orange? So it's possible it would change colors. I want a tricolor millepora. The colony my LFS had wasn't for sale. They're fragging it and distributing it to people who've claimed frags already Link to comment

GHill762
Well I'm not done with the install...but i couldn't resist. Light is hung. Still deciding if I want to run the cables in the wall or not. I'm super happy. It's putting out some serious light, and color is amazing. Very happy. Better pictures and stuff to come.
