Snowgrrl83
Alright, here are my take-homes from the frag swap. Unfortunately, 2 of the 45 frags I took home, I didn't realize, but I already had the same coral already in my tank. Here are the two corals I already had. (Also, if you can ID that acro for me, let me know!) http://s1374.photobucket.com/user/snowgrrl83/media/BFC76B21-B3FE-4E87-8885-6B784977B95C_zpsbgcapnfd.jpg.html'> http://s1374.photobucket.com/user/snowgrrl83/media/F38C155E-F6F3-43E8-98DD-2C522EABBC2E_zpsdocwiakq.jpg.html'> I also had the pleasure to take these new specimens home. They are little, but hopefully they will grow to be big and strong Acan and unknown SPS (green slimmer maybe? let me know if you can ID). http://s1374.photobucket.com/user/snowgrrl83/media/AFF62F8A-889F-48E9-9945-87D8D902CCA5_zpskroetbpa.jpg.html'> http://s1374.photobucket.com/user/snowgrrl83/media/75B86AD7-5644-4FE9-9D91-3EE620013436_zpsw76an6ti.jpg.html'> Also, went and purchased a new Yellow finger Gorgonian! All of its beautiful polyps came out last night. I hope I can feed it properly. Here it is today with its polyps hidden. I'm going to need to buy some photo and feed it regularly. http://s1374.photobucket.com/user/snowgrrl83/media/2284E8FC-A7E8-4551-995F-6222B025B727_zpsmybnlxnb.jpg.html'> Link to comment
Pinner Reef
Your tank looks better at 6mos than mine does after a year. Nice work! Link to comment

Snowgrrl83
I've done that so many times. I bought green birdsnest 3 times because it can look so different when not in ideal conditions. So, got a green birdnest for sale? Too bad importing corals from the USA is a pain in the bum, otherwise I'd trade with ya My birthday is 3/4 of a year can't wait Oh...how old will you be? When are you getting a tank already? You are way too involved in NR to be tank-less. Short update here, tank is doing great, so is the new gorgonian I still need to take a pic of the gorg with all of its polyps out. I've been feeding it some reef roids. I think it likes it... Everything is doing well, my BTA is growing and growing and growing... I sure hope it doesn't start killing everything around it. The corals that incidentally touch the BTA certainly are bothered by it. The BTA is lodged deep into the crevice of a large rock and is the main home of my Picasso clown, so I have no intentions of getting rid of it at the moment. Link to comment

Snowgrrl83
So last weekend, my BTA decided that it wanted to walk around a little bit. It ventured on the underside of the rock and between the rocks and thankfully didnt go very far. It came back in a crevice approximate an inch above the crevice in which it used to live. phew! Close call!! Also, this morning, I noticed that my feather duster lost its crown. I read that this can happen and that its normal, but I cant help but feeling worried about my feather duster. Anyway, we are approaching the end of the month, so a FTS is due. Here it is. Fts May 29, 2014 Link to comment
Cameron6796
The bta and the sps right beside it are looking awesome, I think they reform their crown and feathers but it is very stressful Link to comment
