Oh man, your Gorgs are so lush!!! I wanted some, but everyone discouraged me. Now that my nem is settled in, trying to decide what to get next. I'm all about color...spots of color in every corner. I think I need some neon or some yellow somethings. I'm looking at the neon green flower on Reef Gardener!

I was so excited about my new orange Halloween crab until I found him happily grazing my cloves and he'd eaten a whole polyp! But left him in....then he got up on my Zoa's! EEEEEK! Took him back to the LFS this morning...he was so cute though. The other crabs don't seem to bother any of my corals.

I was so excited about my new orange Halloween crab until I found him happily grazing my cloves and he'd eaten a whole polyp! But left him in....then he got up on my Zoa's! EEEEEK! Took him back to the LFS this morning...he was so cute though. The other crabs don't seem to bother any of my corals.

 

I'm going to have to get up at like 4am and see who's eating my toadstool. I'll banish someone to the fuge if I have to.

Lowes, Victorian Plant Hook 5.97----I think it said it holds like 20-25lbs. Then I used the cable hide stuff- another $8 probably and painted that the color of the wall.

Ha. I was turning down the light and I found my emerald hanging out in the non-photosynthetic yellow gorg.

 

 

 

 

And I think this nem is climbing down the rock to the sand, she's almost there. I've been picking up the rock and wiggling and maybe she finally got uncomfortable. She's the one I tried the ice cube on. And to the bottom right you can see the pretty one w/ the pink skirt.

I don't know yet because I haven't had open space for a while.

I have a plate that I had in front and it was receeding, now I put one on the side and it's doing it too- guess I have to feed it more but I think I'll just stay w/ the one right now. Acans I have in 2 locations already.

Wow I love this tank. Also, you have a lot of experience with gorgs so I've got a question. I just added one to my tank about 4 days ago. It's in good flow, good light but it hasn't opened up at all. Looks like a stick. Is this normal? Does it take awhile for them to adjust to transport and a new tank? Thanks!

Thanks, it can take anywhere from a day to a week or 2 for a gorg to adjust. Is it photosynthetic or non-photosynthetic?

Oh and where do you buy yours? I got this from Unique Corals. Iv'e read KP is good, thats where I got my live rock.

Worth a shot. I just talked to a guy I know thats a reefer and a zeovit snob lol. He's gonna let me use his Coral Vitalizer. He claims one drop of that stuff and it will come out. We'll seeeee

As far as I know, CoralVit is just a mixture of amino acids and a few other things. You can get the same response from any other amino acid supplement.
