llama roadkill
Good light, with great bulbs you could grow sps Awesome! He also has a Reef Octopus skimmer. I will most likely not buy the sump since there is no room for a fuge. I will also probably get 2 Wp40s. Link to comment
llama roadkill
Okay, so I know this thread is more about stocking, but I can't figure out how to change the thread title... Could a Cherub Angel (Centropyge argi) or a Yellow Candy Hogfish (Bodianus bimaculatus) work? Link to comment
llama roadkill
What about a Lamarck's Angel (Genicanthus lamarck) or a Bellus Angel (Genicanthus bellus)? I have read that they are very peaceful and reef safe, and my LFS carries lots of Lamarck's regularly. Link to comment

I don't have any experience with these fish. I believe they are more active than Tangs and the Lamaracks is a fair amount bigger than a bellus at max size. I personally would opt for a female bellus as they stay a bit smaller and have more striking attention getter colors for a centerpiece fish. They do however, cost a fair amount more. I'm sure 1.0reef will let you know when he wakes up Link to comment

1.0reef
Oi, late night. IMO Genicanthus watanabei or G. bellus would work. Link to comment
llama roadkill
Oi, late night. IMO Genicanthus watanabei or G. bellus would work. Okay. So no Lamarcks? Also, is there a small tang that doesn't pick at clam mantles? Link to comment
1.0reef
Lamarcks get a bit too big. Tangs usually don't pick at clams. Also, the angel and tang will take up a lot of stocking space. Link to comment

Will another fish work in that setup? Preferably a Cherub Angel (Centropyge argi) a Flame Angel (Centropyge loriculus) or a reef safe hogfish like the Yellow Candy Hogfish (Bodianus bimaculatus)? 1.0reef
Hmmm, maybe..... If you add everyone slowly in the correct order and keep up with maintenance you should be fine. Link to comment
Tamberav
Why do you want to add another angelfish since I thought the whole reason you wanted a Genicanthus is because they don't pick at clams/coral? Link to comment
