markalot
Form comparison, and from a regular persons tank (no fancy awesome colors) Bird of Paradise This started out fairly brown, then some yellow skin, now hints of green skin and the polyps have turned a nice shade of purple. Very hairy. This next one is, I believe, a green pocillapora. I bought what I thought was this coral a month ago, ended up being a pink and green pocillapora and has tripled in size in that month. Scary fast growth for an SPS. I went back last weekend and they claimed this was the same coral but I noticed the green skin, pointed it out, they did not believe it was different, so i bought it for 10 bucks. Unfortunately it's in my 46, so it looks good with the eye, but always distorted with the camera due to the bow front. You can just see the small patches of green skin in this pic. Be sure to take more pics in a week so I can see what yours is up to. Link to comment

The second pic, has a bright green mouth so looks to be a very nice People Eater Paly of sorts. Love how puffy those acans are in the last pic. I bought what I thought was this coral a month ago, ended up being a pink and green pocillapora and has tripled in size in that month. Scary fast growth for an SPS. My MP10 was stalling tonight (baby snail entered the internals of the wetside) so the piece in question didn't have much pe. It has a white skeleton, red/brownish polyps and bright green tips. So I am leaning towards a pink and green pocillapora. Thanks for iding it. Man, things are looking bad asss in here! So much color and fluff happin, love it ll bro. If so I'll just keep my eye out for this morph. Yeah. About the acans. These guys are doing great. But I had some other acans that basically died out. I had about 6 or so heads. Now only a small head is left. Ohh well. Haha. Yeah. The shrimp are characters. Righty, the one in the 1st picture is a sweet heart while Lefty is extremely territorial. Fun to watch. Link to comment

He just climbed out of frame, never to be seen again, OR WUT? What the hell happened to 'ol Hermit?!? Was he chasing tail, or simply stretching his legs? I demand answers! Such a mysterious little crab. Hahaha. You find out when I get more dt pictures. On a serious not though. Ol' Hermit almost died. I noticed some algae on my flow accelerator so I grabbed him and placed him on it. I looked away for a second to put my tweezers down. When I looked back he wasn't on the accelerator anymore and that observation was followed by CLICK CLICK CLICK. Ol' Hermit fell right into the pistol shrimps' den. I was devastated. I looked into the den and didn't see him move at all. I quickly took the cover off the tank, threw it down and starting ripping up my rock work. The shrimp kept snapping, but this time - at my fingers. Keep in mind these shrimp scare the shit out of me. They pulse to other parts of the tank and I grab Ol' Hermit and place him in a safe place. He seems fine, thank God. Rock work is a little sloppy and the shrimp are in two different dens but Ol' Hermit lives another day to 'go the distance'! Link to comment
patback
Lmao. You're the only person that would rip apart your scape and disrupt every thing for a hermit. Did the pistol get you at all and did it hurt? I want to know what it feels like but not curious enough. Link to comment

ArabTanker
Ohh yeah. I keep forgetting to mention this. I bought a small rock flower nem and a nem shrimp a while ago. I think I got them both for a total of $10. I placed them in the tank. Turned off the pumps, let the nem settle in a nice spot. It stayed there for 2 days I think. Then one day on my way out to the door to work I noticed the shrimp was on top of the nem and it wasn't fully opened. When I came home it was gone and the shrimp was on my zoas. I kept hoping that I could follow the shrimp to its location - but nothing. I couldn't find it anywhere. It was placed on my main rock and there are a lot of caves in it but I cant see too far into them. That was about 3-4 weeks ago. Any of you guys think theres still hope that I'll see it again? it was so beautiful, blue with red spots and white frills. Link to comment

nidding
I'm looking for a new fish myself, and am going for a tail spot blenny. If I had had a lid on my tank, I would have considered a possum wrasse - probably white banded. But what kind of fish are you looking for? Link to comment

But the top branches have crazy PE. I think it may be a flow issue. Not really sure. Link to comment
