hypostatic
might it be a blueberry gorgonian (Acalycigorgia)? Quote Link to comment
Gramophone
might it be a blueberry gorgonian (Acalycigorgia)? Don't think so. After doing some research, it looks like it could be a lophogorgia chilensis. Quote Link to comment
Maniu
Does it open up when light is turned on? Most photosynthetic gorgs behave that way from my experience. They close up soon after lights are out. P.S not a gorg expert just my observation. Quote Link to comment

Gramophone
Okay, so I either just watched snail porn, or I just witnessed some snail cannibalism. Is this just its proboscis? I hope someone on here is familiar with the art of snail mating 4 Quote Link to comment

Maniu
50SofGrey is so overrated ..... Also, it is getting old and cheesy when ppl try to relate to it without any primer whatsoever. But those 2snails look like having some fun....... Well, actually there are only two species that I know of that take pleasure from sexual act. Dolphins are one of them. Cool shot. As to earlier post about gorgs well, it seems that it is non-photosynthetic kind after all. Quote Link to comment
markalot
Hi Gramophone, hope all is going well ... or is it swimmingly? Do you use the clip on lid for this tank? Any complaints with it? Quote Link to comment
Gramophone
Hi Gramophone, hope all is going well ... or is it swimmingly? Do you use the clip on lid for this tank? Any complaints with it? Hey, Mark! Everything is going quite well It's really just 2 panels of glass that can easily be removed. The glass panels are great, but I have three strange cats that enjoy eating filter floss, so I have to use a panel of plexiglass on top of the glass held on by velcro to prevent them from doing this. It's a bit ghetto, but works well 1 Quote Link to comment

Any handles on these pieces of glass, or does a stick-on handle come with the kit? Quote Link to comment

Gramophone
Thanks, that's pretty much what I have over my tanks. They were lids with hinges but I removed the hinges. Any handles on these pieces of glass, or does a stick-on handle come with the kit? It's more of a bracket. It's kind of hard to explain. I'll take a picture for you as soon as I can Holy photography skills! Did you sell your soul to get pics like this? That shot is beyond phenomenal. Haha. Thanks, guys! 2 Quote Link to comment
