FlCandy
Hey, as long as you don't give it dewormer, I think you guys will make wonderful parents. OH thanks for the heads up! Ok...now I'm really jealous that you will get to hold the baby someday. I will post billions of pics I swear! After that comment and the one about reefers I may be banned! I used to love babysitting when I was younger. LMAO no you'll be fine we are about as wacky as you can get so I am not too worried. That reefer comment was too cute. So it happens to have a double meaning.... LOL I agree! Link to comment

That's awesome...and a VERY important consideration. Plus...you have great water out of the tap. I can't believe you get 30-ish, Annette!!!! That's fantastic!!!!! Link to comment

I can't believe you get 30-ish, Annette!!!! That's fantastic!!!!! I know I was happy to just confirm that but even happier to know that the TDS meter on the ro/di itself is working for the OUT! Even if I didn't pay attention. it would still never be that bad. I wouldn't chance anything but if something was broken and I hadn't checked the OUT in a while, you know. Link to comment
FlCandy
Yeah and we are like 3 blocks away from each other. I was looking for somewhere with nice schools when I was looking at rentals, and for something central for both of us and this just was perfect for now. I don't think I am going to be moving any time soon, moving the tank was stressful enough I need a few years to let me and it settle back in. Side note, 3 months now with 0 water changes, I believe the cyano was from the move and new sand, etc, it is nearly gone now. Just overnight almost non-existent. Love this tank, Pics tomorrow I promise. Link to comment

You're just going to have to come this way sometime for a vaca. And I have 2 empty bedrooms downstairs, a full bath and separate entrance. Cheap lodging! Ha! I was just thinking of Friends, remember the episode about "Monica bang!" Link to comment

You were sooo smart to consider that when you moved there, Randi!!!!! Link to comment

FlCandy
Awesome tank! Do you have any pics of the Court Jesters? I think I do .... This is Mac, Roni went missing and is counted as dead, as is the teeny baby GBG I added at the same time. Guess they went MIA about a month after adding them. He is much Fatter now, this was 2 months ago. Hard to get a pic as he hangs out in the back of the tank sifting sand. Hey all sorry been MIA it's been crazy and I am just exhausted. I have some pics and some news. Due to the tank being too clean..... even though I have gone to 0 WC feed every other day and have 9 fish in the DT, I lost the 2 larger clams, both Kevin and Quorra are gone. The Blue Squamosa Flynn is still rocking it and growing like a weed. So I upped feedings to every day and yeah.... guess the corals and whatnot have colored up more as well so the nutrients were too low die to the fuge and the Skimmer being to efficient. So for now FTS This is before I did some algae removal and Quorra Died. Quorra 3 days before her death Flynn same day as Quorra, this has been 3 weeks and he is cleaned up no more algae and is larger. Growing like a weed this guy. Feeding the Lytho Clowns Flynn was scared by Bowie swimming over top of him Triple Threat! See how fat Xena the Mandarin's tummy is! ORA Red Planet. Green Tip Scripps Karl's Candlelight Jose's Candlelight Rainbow Brain Green Tip Scripps Frag, 1 of 2 I cut last Wednesday Frag of SPS I have yet to identify. Was browned when I got it a year ago now it is super blue with green highlights and polyps. ORA Red Planet Frag 1 of 1 Karl's Candlelight Frag 1 of 3 Jose's Candlelight Frag 1 of 1 Darryl lmao Flynn is very sensitive to things next to or over top of him. Again Darryl made Flynn mad. Darryl Bowie SO fat I have more from the last update I didn't post here I am sorry I have been slacking just not up to a 6 day work week and growing a kid and keeping up on NR. Find me on FB I usually update there pretty often. All is well with us, 12 and a half weeks now, we find out on Jan. 6th if it's a boy or girl so exciting! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and if I am not on before Christmas or New Years a Very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, and New Years. Link to comment

FlCandy
Not really, they just need an established sand bed and don't put 2 into one tank gobies are easy. Thanks so much, it is my baby I was horrified by the clams starving to death and still can't get over the losses. Link to comment
gena
I'm still devastated about Quorra and Kevin too . Life goes on though and your tank is looking marvelous. And so are you . Link to comment
llama roadkill
Ya, losses are hard. Some people don't get fish dying are just as bad a dogs for some people. So really the Jesters just need an established bed? Link to comment

Thanks lady , they were lovely clammies and I will never replace them. This is a one clam tank and if Flynn goes it will be a no clam tank because I will not do them again if this is the recourse. I have lost a small fortune in those clams and I am mortified by it. Ya, losses are hard. Some people don't get fish dying are just as bad a dogs for some people. So really the Jesters just need an established bed? Thanks, yes they need a established/mature sand bed with micro-fauna in it. Link to comment

FlowerMama
With the way your sps grow give it a few wks and I bet you won't be able to tell that there were sections fragged off. They love your tank conditions. Happy all the holidays to you too. And I was gone since Thurs but by all means bring the jugs by and I'll refill. Link to comment
