You said she doesn't want anything romantic but she mentioned this other girl was asked by a guy who was outside her house at 2AM with glow sticks asking her to go to the dance with him and the threw eggs at her window until she came out. ^ How is that not romantic? She doesn't want you to ask her romantically but she wants something creative???? She is being a silly teenager trust me I was a teenage girl once, they are weird like that. It doesn't mean she doesn't want you to go all out on the actual night either. Remember she is going to be telling her friends every detail so don't you want to look good?
