Markushka
and my maroon does the same thing. how do you keep the sand off of all your rocks? Is that from the flow of the MP10? Link to comment
violinist
Blast it with the turkey baster before wc, and generally blast the zoas after basting in the food every other day to keep them from getting too gunked up. Otherwise I just let it lie. Link to comment
violinist
Here's another video. Starts out in the morning with just a bit of window light hitting the tank (god I love this camera) then moves on to feeding and just a lot of coral porn in general. Think I jacked up the quality a bit, still need to figure out the software but it's not bad. Link to comment
SWEETLOU
My maroon does it right by the mp10. So the undertow grabs it then blasts it. It looks like snow. But it spreads it out so I don't get build up on my corals. But the turkey baster helps when needed Link to comment

Think I jacked up the quality a bit, still need to figure out the software but it's not bad. Did some thread housekeeping and added a TOC and latest fts/vid to the first post. Shamelessly bumping my latest vid. A lot of beer and time went into its creation lol. Link to comment
Oats
Cool Video. I like the hermit wrestling match after you fed the tank, LOL. Link to comment
tundrashaul
awesome vid. that blenny stole the prize from those hermits like it was everyday business.....he is a fat punky blenny as described Link to comment
violinist
lol, yeah he sure is! I'd like to get another one but I don't think he'd be into sharing the tank. Link to comment
tundrashaul
i think you could have won the eyes photo contest with a freeze-frame of the close-up when his eye goes to that crazy color. IMO 3:20 on vid. if he was finned up, that duster is beautifull. relaxing intro Link to comment

How big are your other fish? How many fish so far? What do you feed? How much do you feed? Link to comment

I had a blenny shot I was going to toss in, the crazy eyes thing was a joke I forgot to go back and delete. The kraylen shot was a good one too. AM - not paying attention eh? I know, I know. Following this tank can be like watching an epileptic chimp on roller skates. Hawk, chalk basslet and the blenny. That's it for fish. Harlequin shrimp is the only invert of note. Feed every other day, but there's a lot of stuff they nibble on in between. Link to comment

Feed every other day, but there's a lot of stuff they nibble on in between. That's what it thought! I just wanted to make sure. I recommend a Bicolor Blenny. I thought about it and it would look perfect in this tank! This tank isn't completely peaceful so the bicolor would fit in perfect. There might be ome aggression though between your Eyelash Blenny. Shouldn't be too bad though. Tune in to my 125g thread Thurs for awesomeness and tons of pics... Link to comment
violinist
Dicking around with the camera some more, here's a short clip of the frogspawn looking for victims earlier this evening. Link to comment
violinist
Wow, vicious. Very. The candy canes have just now started to grow their green skin back down over their skeletons. I was starting to think they were goners which would have really sucked since they've grown like wildfire since I got them. Did completely lose one of the two torch heads though. The lighter colored FS next to that one - never seen it send out a sweeper at all. I'll call that one Canada and the killer one USA. Lol. Link to comment

violinist
Alright let's get back to business: In addition to going nuts on the sandbed, he's taken to keeping the canes po'd by laying in them lol... Killers... Victims... Directly in front of the mp10 is the best place to perch: Shrooms and shrooms: Wonder if the crown is going to grow back as large as it used to be: Zoazzzzzzzzzzzzzz: Link to comment
