Needreefunds
What one did you try? It was that one I told ya about. Picked up a Sam Adams "Longshots" contest winner sampler pack. The other two brews were awesome, the "Double IPA" well, not so much. Link to comment

Needreefunds
BibleSue... IPA is NEVER "the bad news"!!! Definitely open for debate. Susan, I would say pick off all your wilting flowers- marigolds and such - then place in a bowl. Pour a bottle of your favorite brew into the bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for three hours. I would suspect this would taste better than the double IPA I tried * yak *. A nasty, bitter, flowery brew with a bite like a junk yard dog. Link to comment
gena
first off...I have to say I'm not much of a beer drinker. The other half is though and he found an OUTSTANDING one. If you like a nut brown...look for Ellie's Brown Ale (Avery Brewing Co. Boulder, Colorado). They describe it on the bottle as a chocolate-colored and mild-mannered brew, with a medium body and a slight nutty character. It almost tastes like dark chocolate (yum) but not sweet. If you like that kind of beer, you won't be disappointed! Link to comment
davidr2340
Avery brews some damn good beers IMO!!! That is all. Link to comment
