All I can say Chris is WoW.

It's hard enough to find a vendor that holds up their end of the deal - much less someone elses end of the deal. You rock!

Well, I take back all the good things I said about PayPal. I called tonight since I hadn't heard anything. I was told, unless I bought it on ebay, as long as I received something there was nothing I could do. It doesn't matter that it is not what I paid for & part of it was missing.

Yeah, PayPal is great as long as all they have to do is collect a fee and transfer money but if there is a problem you are on your own.

Here is their response to my negative comments. I also told them I was glad that I had not added them as a payment option on my web sites. I guess they have all the business they need with eBay.

Dear Susan,

Thank you for contacting PayPal.

PayPal Buyer Protection is designed to provide purchase protection for

buyers on eBay and help buyers recover funds from eBay sellers who do

not deliver the promised goods. PayPal Buyer Protection covers payments

for tangible physical goods that can be shipped and goods that are

significantly not as described. All other payments - such as payments

for intangibles, services, licenses, and other access to digital content

- are not covered.

Transactions Covered by PayPal Buyer Protection:

· PayPal Buyer Protection is only available to registered PayPal

members for eBay purchases

· The maximum coverage amount available for the transaction will be

displayed in the Buy Safely section of the eBay listing. The buyer can

click on "See eligibility" for the specific coverage details of the eBay

listing

· Pay for the item with PayPal and use the seller's email address

associated with the listing

· Use the "Pay Now" button when the listing closes on eBay or

associate the payment with the eBay listing by entering the item number

into the PayPal payment instructions.

eBay Categories covered under PayPal Buyer Protection:

eBay Motors parts and accessories will be covered; however, motor

vehicles (cars, boats, planes) and Live Auctions will not be covered.

Sellers cannot indicate PayPal as a payment method during the Live

Auctions listing process and therefore those listings will not be

eligible

Sellers will be eligible to have PayPal Buyer Protection offered on

their listings if all of these requirements are met:

· The seller eBay feedback rating is at least 50

· Seller has positive feedback percentage is at least 98%

· Seller is a Verified member of PayPal

· Seller has a Business or Premier PayPal account

· Seller's PayPal account is in good standing

· Seller is a PayPal member from one of the countries that offers

PayPal Buyer Protection

Sellers can determine whether they are eligible for PayPal Buyer

Protection by clicking the "Profile" subtab of their PayPal account.

Eligibility is determined at time of listing on eBay and eligibility

requirements may vary based on eBay listing site.

In addition, the following rules apply:

· PayPal must be selected as an accepted payment option on eBay's

"Sell Your Item" form or when using bulk-listing tools such as Turbo

Lister or Seller's Assistant. PayPal Buyer Protection only covers items

paid for with PayPal.

· Item must be listed on an eBay site that is eligible.

· PayPal Buyer Protection is only offered for tangible items

(physical goods that are shipped). PayPal Buyer Protection is not

offered for services or intangible items, such as emailed recipes and

e-books.

PayPal Buyer Protection claim guidelines for buyer:

· Only open one dispute per PayPal payment

· Disputes must be filed within 45 days of the initial PayPal

payment. If the dispute can't be resolved, ask PayPal to investigate by

escalating the dispute to a claim. The dispute must be escalated to a

claim within 20 days of the date the dispute was opened.

· There is no limit on the number of PayPal Buyer Protection claims

that can be filed per calendar year.

· Be willing to provide information during the investigation

process. If we are unable to obtain the necessary information, the case

may be canceled without a refund.

To learn the specific terms and conditions of the PayPal Buyer

Protection Process, simply click the "Legal Agreement" link on any

PayPal webpage.

We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter, and

wish you continued success on PayPal.

Sincerely,

Suzanne

Just when you lose faith in human nature someone restores it. Well done Chris!

I know it is time to let this die but I wanted to update on the skimmer. I used the tank from the frag swap to test the skimmer since it didn't fit in my tank. The pump doesn't work. No surprise there. Sorry for those interested in buying it.

This had the potential to be the best NR thread ever, but you guys were way too easy on him. You had him by his throat and then you loosened your grip! Criminals THRIVE off of being given the benefit of the doubt, or the good nature of people.

I shipped out your coral on the 23 via USPS with 2-3 day shipping. I do not have any coral in my tank. I 'm getting rid of everything so why would I keep anymore coral? I do not know why usps has not delivered anything. I swear I have nothing in my tank and that I can provide proof that I dropped them of.
