jT415Gz
@Yankeepete I sent you a PM and I believe you read it. Do you think you could work on an AIO for my tank? I don't mean to rush but If you can do it then I might not pull the trigger on a eshopps sump/fuge setup, All depends on what you think, design, price point and ETA. Please let me know. buddythelion
Oh ho ho! An AIO ADA or Mr Aqua tank would be amazing! I'm thinking of upgrading tanks and this might be what I'm looking for. Link to comment
jeffvmd
...I can be the first to request the AIO add-on for the mr. aqua 12G long owner's out there. What do you think. Possible to do? Let me know if you need the dims. PM me if you need to. Glad to hear your new born is back home before Mothers Day! Keep up the good work too. Edit: Dims Hydor Pico Evolution 1200 (tiny footprint good power) This I'll have to see as I also have a MR Aqua 12gallon long reef running right now. Link to comment

jT415Gz
You need to get a stand that fits your tank, that looks like a disaster waiting to happen. you are the 2nd person who has mentioned that lol. I feel it is fine, BUT I do plan on stopping by Home Depot and getting some plywood cut to spec soon, then primed and painted black to match the Gorilla stand. @Yankeepete - I'll get the ID of the tank today if I can find my calipers! jT415Gz
If you have calipers that big give it to me in millimeters that would be awesome! Mr Aqua prior June 2010 Inner Dimensions [Tempered Base] WxH = 7 15/16" x 9 1/4" (7 15/16) inch = 201.6125 millimeters x (9 1/4) inch = 234.95 millimeters Mr Aqua Post June 2010 Inner Dimensions WxH = 7 15/16" x 9 3/16" (7 15/16) inch = 201.6125 millimeters x (9 3/16) inch = 233.3625 millimeters Calipers were not long enough; used measuring tape. Maybe some else can chime in and double check my calculation too on their own mr aqua. Mind you that mine was mfr. before June 2010 which has tempered bottom and I believe thinner bottom glass too. Post that date they are all non-tempered with thicker base bottom is what I believe. So basically depending on when your tank was mfr. prior or post June 2010, your tank height will probably vary +- 1 to 2 mm. I have sent an email to Mr. Aqua about this and lets see what they have to say. BTW I wonder how deep should the AIO be? 3"? 4"? And how about spacing between each chamber? Hmmm Update: received confirmation of actual dims per Mr. Aqua Rep . Let the fun BEGIN! Link to comment

jT415Gz
ATTENTION fellow nano-ists! We need your opinions ASAP! As far as designing an AIO for the Mr. Aqua 12G Long Rimless tanks. What would you like/love to see implemented into the design?? Please, speak freely as this is your moment to speak your minds eye and show your imagination and creativity to this potential next build Yankeepete may take on! We all already know how great his craftsmanship is which has already been proven by many of you who own his work. But how about giving him some ideas on where/how to start? I guess I'll start idea #1. 1) Create an adjustable overflow panel to control the DT's water level, probably being held in place by a magnet. What do you guys think about how deep the AIO should be - 2", 3" maybe 4"? AND, what about spacing between chamber compartments; how much should be in between each section? Remember, sharing is caring, don't be shy. lol Link to comment

jgpico
You definitely need to start a website so you have an easier way to take orders and keep track of everything. Might as well start cranking out a couple of everything you offer before once people find out about the quality stuff you're making they will be flying off the shelf! Thanks again, and I can't wait to get my 5.5 unit in. Link to comment
jedimasterben
Took a measurement tonight and the glass on my 55 looks to be less than 1/4" so the magnets should work . I'll have to order some next week. I'll measure the filter as well, if you think you'd be able to make the skimmer for it. Thanks 55g tanks are made with 3/8" glass, not 1/4". Link to comment
