Upping my photo game:

So I ended up getting an Avast Marine Top-Down Porthole today, and snapped a single shot with it before leaving my house to go take some photos for a local reefer.

 

Pink Diamonds and Sakuras

 

Once I got to the guys house, I messed around further and was definitely getting the hang of things. Here is one of the betters shots I got from his tank:

Thanks man! So the zoas I got from him were just 2-3 polyps of each, those pictures are from his tank. The blue lagoons haven't actually opened up yet, hoping they are okay!

Hah, I actually only own three tanks now! The Fiji Cube, this one, and the UNS45u. Ideally I wanted to sell the UNS setup as I wanted a simpler tank for the second one, but if I don't get any bites on it I'll just sell the Vectra pump and set the UNS up somewhere in the attic as a planted FW tank to round out my systems.

 

And damn, go get some deals and see if you can get anything to color up decent!

I honestly love it, I have always wanted one just because the colors are so wild on them. It really looks even better in person, can't wait for it to grow out. Although I do have to say that a large reason for me purchasing this was to potentially have an easy coral that can help self fund the hobby...Will be looking to trade babies for coral once it starts giving me some.

Honestly,thats the best thing to do. Then sell a few babies pick up a jaw breaker and dead pools and quadrupel your money. Thats what I would do,but I seriously have never been able to keep mushies lol.

I have two jawbreakers already! Bought one months ago with a tiny little nub attached to it, and now that nub is bigger than the original lol

 

My mushrooms are doing really well right now…actually everything is at the moment.

 Shoot,when I was at TSA their rics are on sale for $35 but normally $50+. Best places I have seen is Salt Critters for them or KPA. 

 

 Man,all your coral are looking AMAZING and so are your camera skills man.

Oh wow that’s more expensive than even the pricy shops here. I’m sure theirs are nicer though. I’m likely going to try to split a Ricordeabox order with @YHSublime at some point, I keep meaning to order one.

Thanks man, definitely one I’ve wanted for a while and I got a DEAL on this one. I also was thinking about doing a pair of Sharknose, but they were all so big I wasn’t sure if I should grab two. Perhaps I still will.

oof, already bought the Aiptasia-X! Plus idk the next time I’d be coming down your way, and I wanted to nip this quick before it spreads. My flatworm problem from the old tank seemed to disappear before transplanting into this one, and thus far I’ve had no other pests (knock on wood!)

Ahh gotcha, well I should make a trip down to you soon anyway to see what else I can steal out of your tank. 😈 I’m ready for some WD once you’re able to frag it. 
 

 

Met up with another local reefer yesterday with some seriously insane acros and Zoas. Had already requested a few things from him, but he’s going to gather up some of his higher end stuff for me and see what’s ready to be fragged for the local frag swap on January. 
 

However, did pick these up from him yesterday:
