joshthebox Posted April 8, 2023 Author Share Posted April 8, 2023 Everything is on cruise control in the shallow cube. The only time I ever intervene is to do waterchanges and clean the skimmer cup. There is absolutely no space left, the softies have really taken over. Photos don't do it justice in terms of how packed it is lol. The reefer is also doing good. Rehomed my cardinal pair and got one of my dream fishes. Wild caught clowns from PNG. They have seemed to pair up nicely. Only three fish in this tank, the pair of clowns and a fire goby. Very similar stocking to my shallow cube. No filter media at all, just a protein skimmer (same as my shallow cube). I also just setup a fluval spec 5 with some crazy equipment. I was given the tank for free, so I just put a bunch of reef stuff I had sitting around to use. I'll have to take a picture of it shortly. 8 1 Quote Link to comment

Will never run a reef with sand again. Inappropriate reefer took a trip up to me from the states, so now I have a piece of the bahama llama willow! Sent him home with my RRC Japanese Green Willow. Pic attached thx Nice! Mine grows pretty well yeah. Give it lots of high random flow and plenty of light. The polyps on yours are a bit retracted and that might solve the issue. Quote Link to comment
