40 Gallon Hob setup

So I finally got my tank started and im gonna keep it nice and simple for now, the setup is a 40g tall. Im not gonna put lots of rocks in it for now just gonna keep it simple with two islands so theirs lots of room for them to swim. I went with a AquaClear110 Hob filter (Hang on back) ,

I have been using a normal tank and HOB filter for a decade. The aquaclears are great for this. I am a huge fan of keeping it simple. Right now I have a 20H Rimless setup with a AQ50. 

 

However i I am about to move over to a 29g Biocube to give my fish a little more room. 

 

Click on my avatar for a pic. Been in this tank for about 2-3 months. Was in a 30 gallon rimmed tank for 10-11 years prior. I decided to switch cause I wanted a rimless look.

I too like to keep things simple. I have run all my tanks with hob's.

 

My favourite now is the Seachem tidal. Awesome filter.
