Long time lurker that decided to join in on the "100 days of nano" contest. Here is my journal with all the goodies....

14 gallon IM Penninsula Tank

Stock IM return pump

Stock IM filter sock in chamber 1

Neo Therm Heater in chamber 2 75 watt

Current USA Marine Orbit Pro Light

10 pounds of very porous unknown origin

(got from my dads established fish only tank)

Names Jason

Been out of the hobby for 3 years or so. Got the itch to come back reefing after watching finding Nemo for the umpteenth time with my daughter recently. Hopped on NR and that's  when I saw mention of the contest and I figured with 11 month old twins and not being to busy and all I'd go reefing again ?.  I'm a stay at home dad and the boys keep me on my toes for sure!!! But I'll find tank time somehow.

Had 3 Cadlight nanos in the past and one Cadlight custom 45 with a sump and all the works

Kept many freshwater tanks prior to reefkeeping.

Live in Waterboro Maine. It's nice as long as you like snow. 

I also have a 20 gallon IM fusion I'm setting up as a fish only tank till the contest is over. Then that'll be a reef too. 

 

Anything else ask away! ?

Welcome!  Glad to have you in the competition!  Sounds like you've got your hands full but I'm sure you'll do great!  Everyone on here is great and so helpful and I think this is gonna be a lot of fun!

SAHP FTW! I'm a SAHM   I have a 3 year old boy and 15 month old girl.  Can't imagine having twins. lol  Tanks help me keep my sanity.  My house might be a hazmat disaster, but at least my tanks arnt! (generally) lol

Best job in the world! Extremely lucky to be able to stay home with my twins!! My house looks like a wrecking ball came through most days!!?   I actually used the "reef tank will help with my sanity line" LOL.....She bought into it when I explained this contest to her! ?

How do I load pictures to a thread?? I'm not good with all this computer stuff ?

Look for the paper clip that says Drag files here to attach, or choose files....  at the bottom of the box where you type a reply. 

 

Click it and then go select the photos wherever they are stored on your computer, phone, tablet, etc.

I prefer using Flickr and then copying and pasting the BBC code.  It's easier to multiple photos and you're not limited on size.

Yes, what lkoechle said.  Using a site like Flickr is easier and won't take up all your picture allotment on here.

The light, power heads, salt mix, AI bracket for my prime for another tank, bunch of test kits and I cant remember what else ☹️

Theres 3 packages total that got damaged

6 boxes shipped together but somehow got split up in transit. Everything was supposed to be here yesterday but didn't show and I was told it would all be here today. I just happened to check the tracking to see where it was at and ^^^ is what I got. All got damaged. No good!!

I got some live rock from one of my dad's tanks so I'm good there with cycling. Just have it in a bucket till I get sand and then will fill the tank up.

Baby steps I guess.....lol
