aclman88
Dang that’s a really nice piece. I really want one but not sure I want to spend all that money to have something that might die in my tank if it doesn’t settle in properly. Where did you pick yours up? 1 Quote Link to comment
Tamberav
Tank looks great as usual! Those chromis look big enough to eat. I don’t think you frag but if you ever do… I got a shipping label with my name on it and some greens 💵😂 4 Quote Link to comment

I purchased mine from Marinefarmers.com for $79.00 about four years ago. That’s a lot for me to spend on coral…… I like the cheap stuff! when I bought it: this morning with lights out: Its much fuller when the lights come on 7 Quote Link to comment

My alk was down to 5ish and then up to 12 at one point with the nepthea completely fine throughout the whole process. Quote Link to comment

They might take it after they've acclimated, but I used to have special systems with fresh water mixed in and never had an issue. If it's a slow drift they'll take it better, but if they look like a limp weenie, you know something's amiss. A prolonged low alk situation will result in their demise. It dissolves those visible spicules and they have no way to support themselves which leads to tissue necrosis. So, if you want them healthy, keep your parameters on the higher side and they'll be happy. 2 Quote Link to comment

I’ve got one in my big tank that’s about the size of a nickel. I see him every blue moon and think how much the harlequins would love to meet him… 1 1 Quote Link to comment

I call them Chernobyl stars because they look like they grew up in one of Cherbobyl's cooling ponds. Check out this little one, not a cat person, but this one's cool. 2 2 Quote Link to comment

StinkyBunny
M's sister had a Maine Coon that looked like Zelda. She had narcolepsy so Raven would be walking out to the barn, sit down and fall asleep in the rain or snow. More than once I went out and collected her up and brought her in. 3 Quote Link to comment
