So here's the written update. Past all the new tank issues. Staying pretty clean. I do have a few aiptasia so I need to get that under control. Thinking peppermint shrimp.

 

I noticed some bubble algae but only on the power head. I think the emerald crab is taking care of that. 

 

I'm water changing almost never, LOL. I think I've done three total of 8 gal each. The mangroves and a bag of chemipure elite seem to have it under control. 

 

Coraline algae is exploding. I scraped quite a bit off of the glass. 

 

Pics here are of most of the corals. There's a colt or Kenya tree not pictured. 

 

I've decided to let it stay at just the two chromis. That seems to be what the tank wants and I have no desire to kill fish. Serpent star is doing well. No other livestock other than CUC. 

 

Don't ask what my numbers are because I haven't tested since the cycle. 

 

I'm not replacing the dead plant above the waterline. Not now anyway. I'd like more coral but otherwise letting it ride.
