brad908
Just went to the ADA store on the way home from Tahoe. Bought some cool stuff http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/03C33F31-2A47-49DD-8C7F-F318FEE80773_zpsfam4gxqt.jpg.html'> http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/BCB7B155-0145-4CC5-BD3C-BF80FF1727D1_zpsdxegdxlf.jpg.html'> http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/EC9A004F-FFE3-45ED-A6D1-AAA164632BB1_zpsqvefqie2.jpg.html'> http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/72EADDE3-5084-465E-9AB4-0C728CC79F2C_zpsudtvqi7m.jpg.html'> http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/E18B89E0-7110-47F9-B497-C308CB9ADFBC_zpsffzw78qo.jpg.html'> http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/E89536D9-77D4-49F2-9B23-AAD23AB45FC1_zpsko2af5dd.jpg.html'> http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/CABDA292-7DA4-432B-9C8E-498AB5D0D737_zpsfonfzpr4.jpg.html'> http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/EA23EE6D-E973-4F43-A75E-A793A17FE080_zps5vmaujcw.jpg.html'> And Tahoe http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/24122BD5-9B60-4842-B17D-EA7D69FA1588_zpsqsqb4tn2.jpg.html'> Link to comment

hey
Jealous of your proximity to the ada store, I really want one of their glass stands. FW tank will be fun, I have a mini m sitting in my basement waiting... as well as a sick dual stage regulator build thats complete minus the stainless steel gauges I want and are annoying to pay for/find. The store was amazing. I was originally going to get another 30c, but my wife prefers rectangle tanks. So got the 45p Dave NanoBox has been hired for the lighting. Link to comment
Giga
Nice store-not as nice as the Japanese ones but still super Jelly! I might be stealing that head board Idea, looks fantastic Link to comment

The rectangular builds are preferred by amano too, I think I read somewhere his favorite dimensions are the ones with height being half the length not sure about depth though. Guess it makes sense with the 2/3rds rule though length being 2/3rds of what you see. Link to comment

I still need to finish our living room wall. /lazy The rectangular builds are preferred by amano too, I think I read somewhere his favorite dimensions are the ones with height being half the length not sure about depth though. brad908
Started the new desk which the planted tank will be on. Desk should be finished tomorrow and doing the aqua scape. Also bought a large zoa rock to replace one of the islands. http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/DEF38744-7380-48E2-96E2-65C988BC7548_zpsgzijywbw.jpg.html'> http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/150FE562-D192-4FAC-BDA1-F4CD607E37D1_zpsmi4tpaoe.jpg.html'> Link to comment
JayPagi
I like how you left the sides unstained. Link to comment
brad908
I like how you left the sides unstained. Sorry to disappoint, but I am putting trim on the sides. But since you mentioned it, It actually does look pretty good in the picture, but in real life the sides aren't clean of stain. There is some drip/marks. I scaped the tank last night, think I am going to use smaller rocks for the pathway http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/26D9ABDB-579A-44DE-9920-70C80EEF8573_zps6afpejot.jpg.html'> http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/8ACB13C9-6F10-4946-85B8-BCDE3220BF1E_zps5of5mrxc.jpg.html'> http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/573A2A15-A1BF-4D53-A729-DCE14853B89F_zpskxpbrpfo.jpg.html'> http://s3.photobucket.com/user/ObeyHK/media/C9F3BA00-C06B-46D7-9D6A-739CE61B31C3_zpsnjgipy5p.jpg.html'> Need to take pictures with my real camera and so many reflections in the glass. brad908
Somehow I think my tank is showing signs of bryopsis. WTF That zoa rock is going to replace the sps rock on the right Pink Poci doing well FW…Going to get smaller rocks for the trail, and make it more compact Link to comment

daletu
Looks nice! I would burry the rocks deeper as well. It will prevent the soil to slide down. You will see the soil starting to settle over time once you add water, and you will need to add more soil so leave some for later use. I will plant plants along the slope right away to have the root go deeper from beginning to stabilize the soil too. Love the scape! It will look even nicer once plants are in! Link to comment
Jstn
Sick man, is there a good primer on planted tanks? Also any plans on that desk, I need a new one and I like that style. Link to comment

I can give you a list of the exact pipes I bought. It was like $150-160 total. The 24x72" wood board was like $30-35, and the piping was around $120. Link to comment

hey
Then you miss all the cuteness of a puppy lol And all the destruction lol. Buddy of mine just got a husky puppy. That thing has energy for miles and will probably not slow down for the next 3 years. I hope he knows what he is in for lol. My puppy was a boxer pit mix. Shes a great dog very smart but damn as a puppy she was like a reaaaalllly fast 2 year old and far more destructive. Link to comment
