Hi Kyle your corals look awesome.

Thanks buddy. Here's a pic just for you. Had a baby venture off the frag plug. Might have to get it to attach to another one and send it your way

Interestingly enough I think that's the newest one to detach from the main shroom. Not sure why it moved but none of the others did

Que es esto?

Is that a JawBreaker? Freaking beautiful colors

Yessir it is. Probably one of my favorite if not favorite coral in my tank

Just keep the shroom in a small food container, plastic and shallow with a bunch of small rubble rock. The babies will have a nice place to release to.

Man,

I'm still kicking myself for missing Zia's sale. Looking good, can;t wait to see the macros.

You do a lot of macro shots, any tips? Never used a macro lens before. Rented the canon 100mm

Tripod is basically a requirement. Other than that, it's a lot of playing around :)

Lens against the front glass, or handheld topdown at high speeds and as bright as you can get it without too much over exposure. I have a tripod but generally too lazy to use it. It shows in some of my macros. :)

Gonna be renting a macro lens this weekend. Let's see what fancy pictures I can come up with

Did you rent online?

Did you rent online?

Yep. Lensrentals.com it'll be my third time using them. Doesn't hurt that their office is right across the street from my work so I don't have to pay shipping

No, unless you just set your watch ahead, wait, people don't wear watches, do they? Anyway..........

Really cool! I just caught up on like 4 weeks of posts. Holy adorable puppy. And that Jawbreaker

Looks really good, just remember you have to be straight onto the glass, any angle will introduce distortion which is really noticeable with macros shots.
