gulfsurfer101
Nah I'm just going to let it ride! I'm going to vaccum out the sand and the entire sump then do a large wc one my trates go up! Link to comment
gulfsurfer101
I did a complete tank tear down and moved it from one room to another where it is out of direct sunlight. So the tank is no longer in my man cave but in my living room instead which is fine with me. I did a 100% wc and rinsed out all the dead organics and dirty socks that helped cycle this beast! It's looking like a brand new tank! I'll be adding a red honey spot damsel to test out the biological foundation but I'm pretty sure we're good to go as low amounts of ammonia are being processed overnight essentially. Link to comment
gulfsurfer101
First inhabitants have been added. A torch coral, two different digitata frags and red honey spot damsel(chromis)! All dry rock! I plan on adding the rest of the liverock from my 20l to finish building the right side out and just leaving that one rock on the left all alone but who really knows at this point! Link to comment
gulfsurfer101
Just watching this tank under the led moonlighting I put together for this tank and I'm loving it! 3 days and all coral and fish are just peachy! I'll be tearing down my 20l this weekend and getting it transferred into here! Should be fun! Link to comment
gulfsurfer101
Got some more frags in the tank! Still getting diatoms across the rock though so I'm holding off adding the sps atm. Link to comment
gulfsurfer101
Diatoms are almost all gone so I decided it was time to make the swap! Everything from the 20l is now resting easy in the 75g. gulfsurfer101
Looks nice! You use square plugs? Yeah I cut my own 4x4 tavertine tiles down into whatever size I need. I always end up with tons of scrap after most jobs that involve it so I use it to my advantage. Here's a few more! Link to comment

gulfsurfer101
Thanks guys! Tank is barely getting past the ugly stage since I went with a 80% dry rock approach. I fought dinos, and gha for starting out with ro well water. Now that I'm back in town and using rodi things are looking much better. Link to comment
