Looks nice. Seems like the zoanthids are coming back.

Slowly but surely. 🙂

It looks very pleasant and nice. Love the zoa-bonsai-tree the most. 🙂

Thanks!

Been a while since I posted here...I just had a regular glass tank made that's a little bit bigger than my current tank. It's the same front dimensions, but deeper going to the back so I'll have more front-back room. I also got a used Tidal 55 for a filter upgrade.

Moved everything into the new tank. Everyone's happy for now, but I'm expecting a cycle. I love the workmanship and dimensions of this new tank, it gives me different angles to view things which I didn't have with my old tank and it's much easier to frame photos with the tank's straight edges.

How did you get everything moved without getting them stressed up?

I had a tub ready for them and an air pump.

I made some questionable LS choices.

The coral beauty has a death wish and keeps taunting and flaring the clownfish. The wrasse jumped but luckily my daughter got to her when it happened and now it's fully recovered.

Do you have any plans to add a lid? You could probably make a nice minimal lid that would keep them safely inside, for next time something tries to jump. Especially considering you have two somewhat territorial fish (i.e. sources of being startled) in with a wrasse.

Yes, going with a BRS type lid. Just waiting on the frame.

Glad to hear it! I seriously dislike when people get wrasses (or, really, any fish) and then don't get a lid. Even if it's something cheap to replace, someone ought to at least make an effort to keep it from dying of being startled.

The tank looks really good. What is that at the base of the 'tree', that the clownfish are in? It looks like the shag version of a carpet anemone.

It's a Carpet Anemone. 🙂
